*Questions*
1. What is the different between a church and auditorium?
The church is the *body of Christ*.
Col 1:18 And he is the head of the *body, the church*: ...
The *church* can be used in 2 senses: physical and spiritual.
A. Physical, as in a building which portrays the temple of the kingdom of God in arrangement and structure.
B. Spiritual, as in a collection of people who function systematically as the body of Christ with the 5 fold ministries in operation.
When you have a physical building of collection of people, fellowshipping or worshipping but fails A, that building is an auditorium. Even though, the people inside may be a church in the sense of B.
2. Do all churches have altar? Redeem, CAC etc.
No! A church (in the sense of A) should have an altar. What most auditoriums (i.e. A) of church of people (i.e. B) have which they call altar is *podium* with *pulpit*.
But note, as believers, we are individually *temples* of God.
1Co 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the *temple of God*, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
The use of temple and church in the new testament sense differs.
3. Why do ministers have divorce issues in their marriage and ministry?
Because they pay less attention to their marriage. Of course, the enemy (the devil at times take them through persecution), but some of them who become victims fail to allow others to counsel them while they counsel others. For CCC clergy, the causes are more than these.
4. Is it wrong to crack joke in churches?
Yes! The word of God must not be mocked. Cracking jokes and organizing comedy in church is mockery.
Act 2:13 Others *mocking* said, These men are full of new wine.
Act 17:32 And when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some *mocked*: and others said, We will hear thee again of this matter
Gal 6:7 Be not deceived; *God is not mocked*: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
Heb 11:36 And others had trial of *cruel mockings* and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:
Jud 1:18 How that they told you there should be *mockers* in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts
