Today marks exactly 3 years since you joined the saints triumphant.

Your coming into this world left an indelible impact — you stood with me in my assignment, and together we raised three biological children who are outstanding both in kingdom service and in the business world. For 33 years we walked as husband and wife, and together we pioneered the HCC organization.

“Sweet is the memory of the just,” says the Book of Proverbs. When you left, I was filled with worry. But the Holy Spirit spoke through you in a dream during the RCCG Solemn Assembly in September 2023: “You have completed your assignment here. Try and continue, and oversee our children.”

That word has become my anchor. It brings joy to know we are all in this race together, even from different places.

Well done, Oluwayemisi. We celebrate your life and legacy. I can never forget the years we shared — they remain my greatest treasure.

I stand united with the residents of Ogbomosho, my hometown, and Nigerians to condemn the recent act of kidnap and killing that has shaken our community.

This senseless violence against innocent lives is an assault on our humanity, our peace, and the future of our nation.

We call on the Federal Government of Nigeria, the Oyo State Government, and all security agencies to act swiftly and decisively.

Finally, we commit this matter to God, the righteous Judge. “Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.” (Romans 12:19)

We pray for divine intervention, for comfort for the bereaved, and for God’s justice to prevail over every enemy of peace and life in this nation. Amen
