You are a Christian and you know God hates magic, sorcery and witchcraft, yet you are entertained by them. Movies like Harry Potter, Doctor Strange, Thor, and Frozen, are what you invest your time in. You invest your resources and energy into books and games that have deep occultic references.

There's a problem and it's not the devil. You are the problem. You don't know where you stand.

Let me expose one secret of the devil that should have been easily noticed but most people don't just seem to.

Do you know the reason why the devil, through the use of demonic entertainment, and anti-Christ propaganda targets the children mostly?

Look at this scripture:

(6) 'Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.'
Proverbs 22:6 (NLT)

This verse above is not just an instruction from God, it's a principle on which the foundation of reality. God is a principled creator. He creates and gives a set of rules to guide those creations. Those are Principles and the devil knows this.

So, what is the way to breed rebellious adults who hate God and raise up rebellious children, making the cycle go over and over again? By attacking them at childhood and reshaping them in an evil way.

That's the principle of Nurtured Programming. Now, before you wince or raise eyebrows, know this, programming is not a bad thing if it's done with the intent of raising godly children. A hacker and a computer programmer do the same thing, just that one does it for an evil purpose.

So, that's why most entertainment aimed at children these days preach an anti-Christ message and introduce them to all sorts of sorcery, magic and ungodly things. This is why I always speak against any cartoon or entertainment with these demonic traits.

You might have grown up being exposed to these, you might have grown to love them, but sin is sin, no matter how harmless it looks. I admonish you all, sit down and do researches on each entertainment you engage in. See if it goes against God's Word and don't be biased.

Time and time again, the entertainment industry shows us a similar story. Someone comes from a faraway planet, lives on earth, is a good person and helps the earthlings fight against bad space invaders and things like that. Think Goku, think Superman.

The story keeps repeating itself. Now, what is my issue with this story? It's that this story is anti-Christ and dangerous for Christians. Why?

It desensitizes us to something God abhors. It makes us fall in love with something God hates. It's an ancient story that has the same ending: rebellion against God.

Let's look back to Genesis real quick.

(4) In those days, and for some time after, giant Nephilites lived on the earth, for whenever the sons of God had in*******se with women, they gave birth to children who became the heroes and famous warriors of ancient times.
Genesis 6:4 (NLT)

Do you see where the story begins? Non-earthly beings coming to live amongst humans, mating with them and being the "heroes". It's the same demonic story that we see in most of your superhero comics and movies. Just a twisted version, because in their version, the fallen angels are the good guys and not the bad guys.

It's a satanic agenda. If you're a Christian and movies with this storyline interests you, dissuade from it. You're exposing yourself to anti-Christ propaganda. And if you're a comic or storywriter and you use these storylines, retrace your steps back. You are promoting demonic propaganda.

Any story that has the storyline of extra-terrestrial beings coming to earth to mate with humans, have kids with them and are heroes is just the same story from Genesis 6 played out in different ways. It's the same story, just told by a different storyteller.

The only otherworldly characters in outer space or anywhere not on earth are either demons or angelic beings. No such thing as life outside earth.

It's not easy, is it?

Watching your friends withdraw from you because you have made the commitment to serve Christ.

It's not easy, is it?

Being misunderstood about your stance, only for you to be called names like pompous, proud, stubborn etc.

It's not easy, is it?

When you are laughed at by the world, by people who are determined to see if you truly end well as a Christian.

It's not easy, is it?

Being in situations where the quickest way out would be to cheat, steal, lie, or sell your body just to make ends meet but having to depend on God.

It's not easy, is it?

Not hearing God sometimes and being a little frustrated because it seems there is no way out of the situation you are in.

My dear brothers and sisters, be encouraged. Truly it is not easy to live in this world since we have been brought out of it. Persecutions abound wherever we turn. Temptations, frustrating situations.

But always remember, Christ, whom we serve knows how we feel in our innermost heart. He will never forsake you.

Let that be your source of joy. That no matter what happens to you, you have Christ and He is always there for you.

No matter how stormy the sea rages, the Prince of Peace is always there to calm things.

Dear brother, dear sister, it's alright to be "not fine". You're doing a lot and working so hard. Things may not be going the way you intended and you might be having difficulties in some areas, but do not be frustrated. All hope is not lost.

Last month, I asked these three questions in relation to KungFu Panda.

1. What is the main theme around the cartoon.
2. Does it contain things that contradicts God's personality?
3. Is it suitable for Christians to watch and affiliate with?

People's initial response to my post was "that I shouldn't talk about it" or "that they loved this cartoon so much" etc. This shows that, even though they don't like to admit it, most people get sentimental and defensive or protective about a thing at any instance of attack against it without looking further into what the opposition is bringing up.

Much like sentimentality over logicality.

And till now, I haven't gotten a sufficient answer. However, in the next 6 days, we will be going through the 4 series of KungFu Panda that was produced as well as answering those questions.

Bible Devotion. Jan 10 - Proverbs 10.

[20] The words of the godly are like sterling silver; the heart of a fool is worthless.

Why is the heart of a fool worthless?

The Bible says somewhere to guard your heart because out of it comes the (desires?) of life. Does this mean a fool does not guard his heart, allowing whatever to come in and that in turn corrupts him internally, causing what comes out of his mouth bad and rendering his heart worthless?

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭10:21‬ ‭NLT‬‬
[21] The words of the godly encourage many, but fools are destroyed by their lack of common sense.

Fools don't apply common sense when they speak and their speech doesn't encourage, or rather discourages people.

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭10:23‬ ‭NLT‬‬
[23] Doing wrong is fun for a fool, but living wisely brings pleasure to the sensible.

Hmm. A fool's heart is bent on folly, that is doing things God frowns upon. That could be why his heart is worthless also.

[8] The wise are glad to be instructed, but babbling fools fall flat on their faces.

Fools don't like corrections and want only what they speak to be heard.

I think I get it now. A fool's heart is filled with pride. Pride in the sense of always wanting to be heard, not wanting to listen to other's opinions and not caring whether your words encourage or discourage people, as long as it's all about you. Fools like doing whatever they want to do, saying whatever they want to say regardless of the consequences. Fools don't want to submit to any authority because they see themselves as one. That makes their heart worthless because they don't act out of love. Love is required to have a fruitful and blossoming heart, the love of God, the love of men. The two simplified commandments Jesus gave; "you shall love the Lord and shall love your neighbors as yourself". The fool's heart is devoid of love for God or people around him. A heart without love is a worthless heart because it doesn't replicate the heart of God.

The conclusion I draw, I shouldn't be a Christian fool, someone who claims to be the son of God but doesn't have a heart like His.

Humans are spiritually inclined, that is, we were built to crave things of the spirituals. That's why Adam could have a relationship with the Almighty God, the desire was there. It's not a bad thing.

However, after the flood, this desire for the spirituals was corrupted, that's why we see many people of nowadays so interested in supernatural entertainment.

Yes, big companies like Marvel, DC, and Disney understand this and that is why they add a spiritual touch to everything they produce. It calls out to us humans.

This is wrong, any relation we have with the spirituals which isn't through the Holy Spirit is us being wooed by demons.

That's why I fight against it. We have to shun all these demonic entertainment and face God truly. Don't desire the next Marvel, DC, or Disney movie, desire the reconnecting with God through godly entertainment!
