Cry out while you sink
Matthew 14:29-32 (KJV) And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.
But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.
And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?
And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased.
In history many has failed, because they refused to cry out to God when they were sinking in the ocean of their weakness. U see in life if you don't deal with your weakness your weakness will deal with you. Moses had anger as his weakness he did not cry out to God to deal with his weakness he instead was managing it. In is like having a sickness and refusing to go to the doctor it will eventually eat you up. Judas had love of money as his weakness he did not ask God to deal with it for hm and he eventually was hunt down by his weakness, easu had an uncontrolled stomach he did not deal with it and his weakness eventually dealt with him and so many more people who had weaknesses and did not deal with the weakness and the weakness dealt with them.
you know many christians now are being faced by the boisterous wind of trials and temptation while on their journey to meet Jesus and eventually they couldn't control it and it kept on coming time after time and it eventually it has become a weakness to them. You cannot help yourself ask the lord Jesus for help. Only Jesus can help you.
your weakness might not be only spiritual weakness. It might be academical: you kept failing in that particular subject, you kept trying to understand that particular subject or topic but it is still difficult for you. ask Jesus for help; it might be medical: your health keeps failing only. Jesus can help you.
I want you to understand that as a child of God that it is not the will of God that we should have weakness. The bible says in isaiah 53:4(paraphrased) that "he bore(carried) our griefs(weakness)...." so if christ has taken our weakness where then are these weakness from!
in conclusion, if you have a weakness in any area of your life, its not the will of God. Why not take it to the throne of grace see what the bible says:
Hebrews 4:16 (KJV) Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
And if you are not sure of your salvation call upon Jesus now for real salvation.
PRAYER: Lord Jesus take away my weakness.
