THEME: DELIVERANCE FROM SPIRITUAL BURDENS

READ: Mark 1:23-27
23 And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit; and he cried out,

24 Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God.

25 And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him.

26 And when the unclean spirit had torn him, and cried with a loud voice, he came out of him.

27 And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What thing is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority commandeth he even the unclean spirits, and they do obey him.

MESSAGE
While my mother was still alive, I went to visit her on one occasion, and a man was brought to me so I could pray for him. The man told me he needed help, but when I looked at him, I could not see anything visibly wrong with him. When he saw the puzzled look on my face, he told me, "Watch." He dug into his hair and brought out a cockroach. He said, I’m not a magician. I'm only showing you the kind of spiritual affliction I have." He dug his fingers into his hair again and brought out another kind of insect. Then he asked me to listen closely as he brought his arm near my ears. When he did that, I began to hear the sound of motorcycles revving. After all these, I asked him to surrender his life to Jesus, and he did. Then, I cried to the Great Deliverer to intervene in his situation, and he left. Two weeks later, I returned to see my mother, and the man came back to see me. This time, he was rejoicing because he had been completely delivered. His skin glowed, and he looked radiant. I decree that if you are carrying any form of spiritual burden, you are set free henceforth, in Jesus' name.

Spiritual burdens come in different forms, some of which include oppressions, addictions, suppressions, and demonic possessions. Today's Bible reading tells us the story of a man who was possessed by a demon. When he saw Jesus in the temple, the unclean spirit in him cried out, "Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God." Immediately, Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit and cast it out of the man. We do not know how long the man had been in that situation; however, when he encountered Jesus, the spiritual burden he was carrying was instantly lifted.

Beloved, are you carrying a spiritual burden? Are you battling addictions or demonic oppression? I want you to know that Jesus, the Burden Bearer, can lift that burden off your shoulders. All you need to do is honor His invitation in Matthew 11:28. I pray that the Burden Bearer will remove any form of spiritual burden that is in your life or the lives of your loved ones today, in the mighty name of Jesus.

PRAYER POINT
Father, please destroy any plan of the devil to place a spiritual burden on me and my family, in Jesus' name.

Introduction: As we have thanked God for what He has done in the past, we desire in
our prayers for greater manifestations of His power in this year's convention

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Father, we bless Your name for the power and the glory in the name of Jesus. Phil 2:9

2. Father, we thank You for the manifestation of the power of the Holy Ghost in the life
of Pastor E.A. Adeboye in Jesus' name.

3. Father, we thank You for the manifestation of the power of the Holy Ghost in all our
Holy Ghost Services in Jesus name.

4. Father, we thank You for the manifestation of power in the blood of Jesus

5. Father, thank you for the spirit of wisdom and guidance upon all officiating

JOURNEY MERCIES AND FAVOUR DURING THIS YEAR ANNUAL CONVENTION

BIBLE TEXT(S): Psa. 46:2-4, 9-12 Ps. 121:1-8

INTRODUCTION: The 2021 Annual Convention is approaching. Travelling has become a
challenging undertaking, particularly from distant places all over Nigeria to the
Redemption Camp. Apart from the risks of accidents, there is also the fear of being
kidnapped either for rituals or for ransoms by bandits, kidnappers and killer herdsmen.
Therefore, we need to cry to God in fervent prayers for divine protection.

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Father, we bless Your Holy name for the salvation of our souls. Psa 103:1

2. Let us bless the name of the Lord. It has been the Lord’s mercies that we were not
consumed, because His compassions have not failed us. Lam, 3:22, Ps. 34:1

3. Father, we thank You for the successes granted us in the past Holy Ghost Convention.

4. Father, we thank You for journey mercies in the past Holy Ghost Convention.

5. Father, we thank You for another Annual Convention that is here again.

6. Let us pray for forgiveness of all our sins that may hinder the move of God in this
year Annual Convention. Ps. 79:9

7. Father, before, during and after this year Annual Convention, please grant us journey
mercies. Ps. 121:1-8

8. Father, we pray against accidents and every evil occurrence on the road during the
Annual Convention in Jesus name.

9. Father we come against activities of bandits, kidnapper, rituals and demand for
ransom on the roads in Jesus mighty name.

10. Father, let there be no air crashes, no ship sinking in Jesus name.

11. Father, let there be no fuel crisis all over the country during this year’s Annual
Convention in Jesus name.

12. Father, we decree in your name that there shall be no bandits attack against the
Redemption Camp before, during and after the Annual Convention this year in Jesus
name.

13. father; Let there be angelic surveillance watching over all your children participating
in this year Congress

14. Father; provide for the needs of all who intended to be parts of this year Congress in
Jesus name.

15. Father, by your mercies, let the siege be over after this year’s Annual Convention in

TOPIC: DELIVERANCE FROM MARITAL BURDENS

MEMORISE:

BIBLE READING: JOHN 2:1-11

1 And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:

2 And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage.

3 And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.

4 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.

5 His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.

6 And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece.

7 Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.

8 And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it.

9 When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,

10 And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.

11 This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.

MESSAGE:
Today, I will discuss marital burdens as another category of burdens. Satan hates everything God has created, including the institution of marriage. This is why he always tries to disrupt the holy matrimony between a man and a woman. Sometimes, he focuses on keeping a man and a woman from ever getting married, and at other times, he visits a husband and his wife with different problems that will keep them from enjoying peace and rest in their home.

Today's Bible reading tells us about a wedding in Cana of Galilee. The bridegroom must have thought that everything that was needed for the wedding had been provided. However, they suddenly ran out of wine. I am sure that they felt ashamed until the Almighty God intervened.

1 Samuel 1:1-20 tells us the story of Hannah, who was barren. Her adversary mocked her daily, and as a result, her life became unbearable. She didn't plan to be barren, but barrenness came nonetheless, and there was nothing she could do about it. The Burden Bearer stepped into her situation, however, and she gave birth to six children, among whom was the renowned prophet, Samuel. Sarah was also under the yoke of barrenness until the Burden Bearer visited her and her husband in Genesis 18:1-6. Before the Burden Bearer intervened in their marital situation, Sarah had been barren for decades, which was why she laughed when she heard that she would give birth to a son the following year. If you have been looking for the fruit of the womb and have lost hope that you will ever carry your own child, I want you to know that the Burden Bearer is also the hope of the hopeless, and He will surprise you. In the name that is above every other name, I decree that every barren woman who is reading this devotional will sing for joy soon.

Beloved, there is no marital challenge that the power of God cannot subdue. The Lord can command peace to reign where there is chaos and disunity, and He can still the storm in any marriage. If you are married and are currently experiencing any storm in your marriage, I pray that the Burden Bearer will step into your marriage now and cause you to sing a new song, in Jesus' name. Also, if you are of marriageable age and are yet to be married, I decree that the Almighty God will settle you maritally with a godly spouse, in Jesus' name.

KEY POINT:
There is no marital challenge that the Burden Bearer cannot subdue.

OPEN HEAVEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL.

DATE: MONDAY APRIL 27TH 2026.

THEME: ATTRACTING GOD'S HELP III.

MEMORISE:

"Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up". James 4:10

BIBLE READING: PSALM 10:17-18.

17, LORD, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear:

18, To judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man of the earth may no more oppress.

MESSAGE:

Today, I will conclude the teaching I started two days ago by discussing humility as another way of attracting God's help.

Today's Bible reading makes us understand that God listens to the desires of the humble and delivers them from every form of oppression. This means that if you want God to arise for your help in any area of your life, you must be in a state of total surrender to Him. Romans 12:1 says, "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service". When you present your body as a living sacrifice to God, it means that you have surrendered completely to Him, and He now has total control over your life.

In 2 Kings 5:11-12, Naaman was about to lose his miracle because of pride. He felt that a man of his social and financial status should be treated in a special way. If not for the fact that his servants advised him to obey the prophet of the Lord by dipping himself in River Jordan seven times, he probably would have died as a l***r.

Child of God, whenever you come before your heavenly Father, do not consider whatever wealth or achievements you might have. Rather, you should always approach the Almighty God in total surrender so you can receive His help. I have walked with God for some decades now, and one of the things I can say about Him is that He hates pride. In fact, He said in James 4:6, that He resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. This tells us that God is always quick to help the humble. David's humility made him enjoy God's help countless times in his lifetime. He never argued with God; rather, he saw himself as a mere work of creation before Him, Psalm 8:4. As a result, God continued to help him until he died at a good old age, full of riches and honour, 1 Chronicles 29:28.

Beloved, if you want God to arise for your help, you must surrender your life totally to Him. You must acknowledge Him as the Owner and Controller of your life, and when you go before Him in prayers, you must totally disregard your social or financial status. With utmost humility in your heart, make your requests known to God, and I can assure you that He will arise and help you, even beyond your wildest imagination.

KEY POINT:

Pride is a major hindrance to attracting God's help.

Almighty Father, give me wisdom to excel and be above board in every area of life in Jesus Name
