The Great Commission spells out the central purpose for all believers. After salvation, our lives belong to Jesus Christ who died to purchase our freedom from sin and death. He redeemed us so that we might become useful in his Kingdom.

We don't have to strive to fulfill the Great Commission. Remember, Christ promised that he himself would always be with us. He is in us, and we're in him. Both his presence and his authority will accompany us as we carry out his discipleship-making mission.....

WISDOM FOR YOUNG MINISTERS
Bro. Kenneth Copeland.

1. Anybody can fall. I repeat anybody can fall in ministry. Don't forget!

2. Anointing doesn't protect against temptations, seductions and attacks. Don't forget!

3. Regular personal retreat will keep you strong. Don't forget!

4. Your strength is God's Word. Study and meditate on it daily. Don't forget!

5. Let go of offenses. Die to offense. Offense can come from anyone even your wife.

6. Prioritize your secret place. As a minister unnecessary visitation, gisting and wanderings are distractions.

7. Don't forget old habits. The habits you struggled with in the old don't forget them.

8. Keep nailing your weaknesses to the cross. It is important!

9. Family before ministry. If your wife is not happy, cancel all ministrations and settle.

10. Don't pamper your children. Enforce greater discipline on them.

11. Don't stop being a blessing to those who can't give or sow. You're called to bless and also always appreciate those who minister to you. You're a father to all.

12. Stay on the Word. Always trap the scriptures into your heart.

13. You can make mistakes. Don't kill yourself in case of any but outgrow them.

14. Have voices that can call you to order. That's why elders, deacons and deaconesses are important.

15. Pray!!! Chew tongues!!! Chew prayer!!!!

Even Jesus did nothing of his own until he hear the father say, you can not hear the father if you don't have a frequent relationship with him. The Great Commission, therefore, is usually interpreted to mean spreading the Christian message and converting others to Christianity.

The Gospel of Matthew does not specifically use such a term. In fact, the phrase “Great Commission” does not appear until late in Christian history. Some scholars argue that it was coined by Baron Justinian von Welz, a 17th-century Lutheran nobleman, who argued that the words in Matthew 28 meant that all Christians were required to spread the faith, not just Jesus’ closest disciples.

Von Welz proposed a missionary organization called the Jesus-Loving Society to spread Protestant Christianity throughout the world. It is thought that the term “Great Commission,” or certainly the basic concept, was central to von Welz’s argument for bringing Christianity to foreign lands.

Two centuries later, the Englishman Hudson Taylor is believed to have used the idea of the Great Commission to justify Christian missionary efforts, particularly the China Inland Mission that he founded in 1866. Taylor’s mission attempted to bring Christianity to China’s inland provinces. This was dangerous work and 79 China Inland missionaries were killed later, in what is referred to as the Boxer Rebellion.

Hudson is often cited by Protestant missionaries, in the quote: “The Great Commission is not an option to be considered, but it is a command to be obeyed.” There does not appear to actual evidence, however, that he actually spoke these words.

You can't be in Christ or him in you, and you don't take the great commission as ur responsibility. Until you take the gospel of the kingdom as ur personal purpose of existence, you will not living for Christ. (Philippians 1:21) For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.

If the Great Commission is to be fulfilled in our generation, now is the time for action. We must begin now and dedicate ourselves daily—as a way of life—to communicate God’s love and forgiveness to everyone we meet. From the time we awaken in the morning until we go to bed at night, our number one priority should be sharing “the most joyful news ever announced, do it in ur office, place of work, where you leave to every one that come to you. God bless you.
