POSITIONING FOR FAVOUR THROUGH:

1. RIGHTEOUSNESS: God surrounds the righteous with favour like a shield (Psalm 5:12). Righteousness begins with RIGHT STANDING—believing in Jesus (Romans 10:10; 3:22)—and is demonstrated through RIGHT LIVING—walking like Jesus (1 John 3:7; 2:6).

2. RELATIONSHIPS: Favour can come through the right relationships. Seek ADVICE from your upward relationships, as Esther did from Hegai (Esther 2:15, 17). Mentorship is not sponsorship. Stop seeking cash from your mentors; seek their counsel and apply it to create value and generate income.

Maintain ACCORD with your lateral relationships. The early believers lived in unity and favour with the people (Acts 2:46–47). Also show AFFECTION through mercy and truth toward those under your influence, and you will find favour and high esteem with God and people (Proverbs 3:3–4).

STOP HIDING IMPORTANT INFORMATION FROM YOUR COUNSELLORS

Yes, God will show your counsellors some REVELATION about your situation, but they also need accurate INFORMATION from you to provide sound spiritual and intellectual counsel.

Don’t hide relevant facts and expect them to counsel you correctly. Give them the INFORMATION they need so they can properly apply the REVELATION they receive.

STOP USING THE BLESSING AGAINST THE BLESSER

Never allow God’s blessings to become excuses for neglecting God. When God blesses you with a job, business, marriage, or children, don’t allow the demands of these blessings to take you away from church, prayer, fellowship, and His Word.

■ Luke 14:18 “But they all with one accord began to make excuses.”

Never become too busy with what God gave you that you no longer have time for the God who gave it. NEVER USE GOD’S BLESSINGS AGAINST GOD.

HEAR GOD FOR YOURSELF

The voice of your prophet should never contradict the voice of the Holy Spirit in your spirit. You may not be a PROPHET by calling, but you should PROPHETIC by fellowship.

The more you fellowship with the Holy Spirit through prayer, meditation on God’s Word, and obedience, the more sensitive you become to His voice and leading for your life.

When choosing a life partner, take responsibility for seeking God and hearing Him for yourself. Don’t make your prophet responsible for making the decision for you.

The role of a prophet is to confirm what God is revealing to you, provide godly counsel, and help you identify potential danger zones—not to replace your personal fellowship with God.

FAVOUR won't replace LABOUR, but reward it.

God’s favour does not excuse diligence, discipline, commitment, or hard work. Favour gives your labour an advantage and causes your efforts to produce results beyond what human strength alone could achieve.

Paul said in 1 Corinthians 15:10 that “he laboured more abundantly than them all, yet not him, but the grace of God which was with him.”

Notice the balance: “I LABOURED” and “the GRACE (FAVOUR) of God was with me.” Grace does not make labour unnecessary; grace makes your labour more fruitful.

SONSHIP and FELLOWSHIP

1. SONSHIP IS RECEIVED BY FAITH: Sonship is not earned by good works; it is received through faith in Jesus Christ. When you believe in Christ, confess Him as Lord, and receive Him, you become a child of God.
■ John 1:12 “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become SONS OF GOD, to those who believe in His name.”
■ Galatians 3:26 “For you are all SONS OF GOD through faith in Christ Jesus.”

2. FELLOWSHIP IS MAINTAINED BY DAILY WALKING WITH GOD: Fellowship is our daily communion and walk with God, maintained through holiness, prayer, meditation on His Word, and obedience.
A believer who falls into sin does not automatically lose his SONSHIP, but the sin will definitely affect his FELLOWSHIP with God. He does not need to run away from God; instead, he should quickly run to Him to repent and confess his sin, so as to restore his fellowship with God.
■ 1 John 1:6–7 “If we say that we have FELLOWSHIP with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another…”
■ 1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
