Today, we solemnly yet joyfully honour the enduring memory and timeless legacy of Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola, on what would have been his 122nd birthday, 25th April 1904 – 25th April 2026.

Though he has long gone to be with the Lord, his life still thunders across generations , through the heaven-sent revival that shook a nation, the countless souls snatched from darkness into Christ’s marvelous light, and the fearless, prayer-fueled faith he demonstrated against all odds. His unwavering devotion, radical humility, and relentless commitment to prayer remain not just a memory but a blazing torch for our generation.

We celebrate not merely the years he walked this earth, but the seismic, eternal impact of his divine calling. May his holy fire inspire us to walk in audacious faith, pursue relentless righteousness, and stand immovable in our spiritual journey until the very end.

Happy 122nd Posthumous Birthday, great Apostle of Power and Prayer. Your trumpet still sounds.

🔥 “If you want power in public, pay the price in secret.” – Lou Engle

Lou Engle has spent much of his ministry calling believers back to the disciplines that historically preceded awakening. From the prayer gatherings and national fasts that began emerging in the United States at the close of the twentieth century, he has insisted that spiritual fire is never sustained by public excitement alone. God, he says, watches the hidden place where no applause is heard. In that quiet arena the real preparation of a servant of God takes place.

Engle teaches that consecration must go beyond the avoidance of obvious sin. It asks how far a life can be yielded rather than how little obedience will suffice. Legitimate pleasures themselves may be laid aside when a heart longs for deeper knowledge of God. Fasting and prayer become instruments through which the believer refuses distraction and turns fully toward the purposes of heaven. Nations may celebrate festivals and gatherings, he warns, but heaven often waits for something else. A people who will humble themselves, fast, and seek the face of God.

He believes history has repeatedly turned when intercessors carried this burden. Prayer that is sustained in secret becomes a hinge upon which public events move. When a generation embraces casual faith, the fire fades. When believers separate themselves unto God and seek Him with intensity, new chapters begin to unfold. The future, he often reminds those who listen, is not written merely by the powerful but by those who believe God enough to pray. 🔥

Joel 2:12
“Turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning.”
