First Word of Grace
The Gospel of John 14:6
“Jesus said unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
Explanation
In this scripture, Jesus Christ reveals His divine identity and His role in salvation. He did not say He would show the way; He declared that He is the way. This means access to God, eternal life, peace, forgiveness, and salvation come through Him alone.
* “I am the way” Jesus is the path that leads us to the Father. Through Him, we receive direction, purpose, and reconciliation with God.
* “I am the truth” In a world filled with confusion and deception, Jesus is the absolute truth that never changes.
* “I am the life” True spiritual life, eternal life, and abundant life are found in Him.
This verse is a reminder that grace is not earned by works but received through faith in Christ.
Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for sending Jesus Christ to be the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Help me to follow Your path faithfully and trust You completely. Let Your truth guide my thoughts, words, and actions every day. Fill me with Your life, peace, and grace. Draw me closer to You and strengthen my faith in every season. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Declarations
* Jesus is my way; I will not be lost.
* Jesus is my truth; I will not be deceived.
* Jesus is my life; I walk in divine purpose and grace.
* Through Christ, I have access to the Father.
* I receive peace, direction, and eternal life through Jesus Christ.
* My life is established in God’s truth and love.
Second Word of Grace
Epistle to the Philippians 2:9–11
“Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
Explanation
This scripture speaks about the exaltation and supreme authority of Jesus Christ. After His humility, obedience, death, and resurrection, God highly exalted Him above all powers and authorities.
* “Given Him a name above every name” The name of Jesus carries power, authority, victory, healing, and salvation.
* “Every knee should bow” — Every power, circumstance, and authority must submit to Jesus Christ.
* “Every tongue should confess” One day all creation will acknowledge Jesus as Lord.
This passage reminds believers that no situation is greater than the power in the name of Jesus.
Prayer
Lord Jesus,
I honor and exalt Your holy name today. Thank You for the authority and victory found in You. Let every challenge, fear, sickness, and obstacle bow before Your mighty name. Fill my heart with confidence and faith as I trust in Your power. May my life glorify You in all things. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Declarations
* The name of Jesus is above every challenge in my life.
* Every obstacle bows to the authority of Jesus Christ.
* I walk in victory through the power of His name.
* Fear, confusion, and discouragement have no power over me.
* Jesus Christ is Lord over my life, family, and future.
* I live under the grace, power, and authority of God.
