Fruitfulness is woven into the biblical narrative from the very first page. God creates plants and trees to bear fruit. He created all living creatures, then commands Adam and Eve to be fruitful and multiply, Genesis 1:22&28.
Throughout Scripture, fruitfulness continues to be associated with God’s people walking in obedience to His ways and commands. When God says, be fruitful and multiply, God is commanding you to make progress in all aspects of your life, He says, move forward, take charge and fulfill your purpose here on earth.
