When you think of this season, remove "I" and "me" from the whole narrative. When you think about the Cross, remove "I" and "me" from the whole narative.

The whole essence of the Cross is that God introduced a system through which His purpose that was suspended through the fall of the First Adam, would now be fully fulfilled through the Last Adam: It is about how God restored His purpose as it was before creation.

Through the facility of the Cross, it is now possible for God to look into the Earth realm and see Himself in man, which is the very reason He created man.

The plan was "let us make man in our own image, after our likeness..." But before Jesus came, that scripture wasn't fulfilled because the First Adam, through his fall, made it impossible for it to be fulfilled.

So what the Cross did is to become the facility through which man can now be a true image of God by partaking in the divine nature.

The summary of this is that the Cross is not just a story of love, but moreso of "His Eternal Purpose," for Jesus wouldn't have gone through that journey if it would not restore that which was suspended by the First Adam.

The beauty of the Cross is that man can now become an expression of God in nature, government and power. Thus, any discussion on the subject of the Cross that doesn't emphasise this is not whole.

Don't go about shouting "love" as though God's idea of love is as man. Love is not an emotion in the realms of eternity, it is a commitment to an established purpose. So, Jesus gave himself because of his commitment to a cause, hence he said "not my will but yours."

Therefore, as we celebrate this season, let it be clear to you that this is about the restoration of God's plan of having an image on earth. We rejoice greatly because the Cross brought us back to where sin took us away from. We rejoice because by the Cross, we can now journey into God without limitation.

The only proof that you truly value the Cross and this season, will now be your willingness to submit to the dealings of the Holy Spirit to the intent that Christ be formed in you.

You don't value the Cross and this season if you are not living a "Spirit-led" life.

There's an aspect of God's plan that can only be fulfilled by men with wicked hands and heart.

Joseph was sold into slavery by his brothers whose hearts were not right.

Jesus was delivered into the hands of the people by a certain Judas whose heart greed had taken over.

Jesus was crucified by a people whose heart is darkened by wickedness.

God would have Joseph, so He allowed his brothers do the work because their hearts had the required posture to implement God's plan.

The prophecy of the Saviour coming from Egypt would be fulfilled by Herod moving in wickedness to kill all infants in Bethlehem, thus promoting Joseph to flee to Egypt with the baby Jesus.

God would have Jesus delivered to the Pharisees and the Jewish rulers, so He allowed Judas implement the plan because the greed in his heart is required for the job.

The plan was that Jesus must be put to death, so a wicked people had to implement the plan.

Now you understand when the Bible says "all things work 5ogether for good, to them that love God, to them who are called according to His purpose."

So, we have learnt not to give credit to Satan for the things that we see, because we know and understand that even Satan can be a tool for implementing God's plan. "If the princes of this world had known, they wouldn't have crucified the Lord of glory." If they knew the destiny of the man Jesus is death, they wouldn't have killed him. But For had to employ their wicked hearts to implement His own plan.

Satan would think he's in charge and in control of your life, but it will be too late for him to realise that he had been working for God all along.

Don't worry. Don't fret. Don't shake. God's got all these together.

God is still the one in charge regardless what Satan is doing.

So David went on Holiday at a time when kingdom go to war.

The king decided to go to war, therefore he himself was conquered by that government that has always been in contention for his soul: sin conquered him.

If he had stood up, like every other time, and go after the enemies, he'd have been too busy to hear the call from Bathsheba's body. Sin was at he door waiting for him, but the only way of escape would have been him engaging himself in the activities of kings.

What is the activity of kings? It's simply going after the enemy and making sure his Dominion is broken. But David was at ease; perhaps he thought he has risen to the point where the arrows of the enemy can't hit him. After all, he has conquered several territories and claimed many already.

What do kings do? Pro. 25:2 says "it is the glory of the Lord to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings to search out a matter.

Kings should constantly be busy searching out such things that are concealed by the Lord. When they are not doing this, they leave themselves vulnerable, and they'd easily be conquered.

To search out such matter that is concealed by the Lord, is to follow diligently the purposes of God upon a territory. You can't be consumed by the zeal to implement the counsel of God, and then get carried away by the body of another man's wife (sin).

To be on holiday from spiritual exercises, which is the battle of kings, is to give yourself away to sin.

Oh king! Leave the roof top and join the rest in battle. Bathsheba has uncovered herself, but you won't notice her if you are not withdrawn from the activity of kings.

What you call "delay" is nothing but "process" to a man in alignment.

There may be such thing called "spirit of delay" but it's not a reality to a man in Christ who is walking in obedience.

I'm saying a man that is following the Lord is not a victim of any such thing called "spirit of delay"; he only goes through a process that is necessary for his advancement. Meanwhile, what we call "process" is not a place of passivity or inactivity, but a place of deliberate learning and practice of that which the Lord is teaching you through the mechanism of the Spirit and men.

When you find a man walking in total obedience, and within the confines of the will of God, darkness can't have a hold on such man.

Everyone who has accepted Him as saviour must also submit to Him as Lord. This is how we are daily shaped into becoming a true expression of His person.

The receiving of Revelations is so that we'd be propelled and compelled to act on the word.

Revelations not lived is a waste seeing that it has not become a life to us.

The potency of that which we have received can only be known when we intentionally begin to live them.

Matthew 6:31-32
Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things..............................................
"Take no thought" is one of the most difficult realities for believers to walk in.

You will see men who pray so much, yet struggle so much with "take no thought."

You will find men who exercise great faith on behalf of others, but find it difficult or even impossible to walk in the path of "take no thought."

Meanwhile, when you get to that point in your walk when you "take no thought", it is an indication that your heart has shifted from being earthen to being heavenly. It is an indication that you have mastered setting your heart on things above.

Until you get to this point of taking no thought, you may never know, by experience, what Ebenezer and Jireh truly mean.

The Bible has said that "after all these do the Gentiles seek." This means it is in the nature of the Gentiles (those who have not come into Christ) to "take thought", and this is because they think their lives consist in the abundance of things which they posses.

We don't know a mature believer just by how long he prays or studies, nor by how much of the gifts of the Spirit he administers, but also by how he responds to life in the days of great needs and turbulence.

I know you have learnt how to pray long and study effectively. But have you mastered "take no thought"?

I leave you with this; it is not in the nature of the believer to worry. So if we find ourselves so engrossed in worry, it is an indication that our focus has shifted from the kingdom to things corruptible.

Brethren, TAKE NO THOUGHT!
