🌿🌾🌿
There are days when we feel like Paul; we just want to write letters and strengthen our brothers.

🌿🌾🌿
There are days when we feel like Peter; we just want to deny everything and everyone.

🌿🌾🌿
There are days when we feel like *Job*; we just want to die and end the pain and suffering.

🌿🌾🌿
There are days when we feel like Solomon; we want advice to make decisions.

🌿🌾🌿
There are days when we feel like Jonah; we just want to escape our responsibilities.

🌿🌾🌿
There are days when we feel like Moses; not being able to control our temper due to pains and pressures from the ones we care for.

🌿🌾🌿
There are days when we feel like Sarah; sad because of something that didn't happen and we "laughed" because we thought it was impossible.

🌿🌾🌿
There are days when we feel like the Good Samaritan; we want to do good no matter what.

🌿🌾🌿
There are days when we feel strong like Joshua and Caleb; ready for war.

🌿🌾🌿
There are days when we feel like Jeremiah, the anguish of our heart is too great.

🌿🌾🌿
There are days when we feel like Daniel; our strength is in prayer and no one can stop us.

🌿🌾🌿
There are days when we feel like Elijah; we prefer to hide in the cave.

🌿🌾🌿
There are days when we feel like David and Miriam, just love singing and dancing.

🌿🌾🌿
There are days when we feel like Hannah; we don't really want to eat, we just want to cry.

🌿🌾🌿
There are days when we have faith like Abraham, to win it all, jump over walls and overcome armies.

🌿🌾🌿
There are days when we look at the hills and wonder, "Where will my help come from?"

🌿🌾🌿
It does not mean that we are strong or weak. It means that we are just human and have limits

Everybody goes through a lot these days but remember, "Whatever your day is like, the Almighty God is with you TODAY, TOMORROW & FOREVER.”

IS YOUR SPIRITUAL BATTERY DEAD:
“Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth.” Colossians 3:2

It is one of the greatest environmental disasters of all time and the total damage may not be known for years. It started with an oil drilling platform that had sunk a well nearly a mile below the surface. To protect from disaster, it was equipped with a blowout preventer, but something went terribly wrong when a backfire exploded on the platform instantly killing eleven people in a huge and explosive fire that ultimately took the platform to the bottom of the sea.
Subsequent investigations determined that among other things, the “fail-safe” device had a dead battery. As I read the press clips, I was amazed that for want of a charged battery, a billion dollar rig could have been saved, the lives taken spared and the environment saved. All of this happened because of a dead battery.
I could not help but think of a spiritual parallel. How many Christians get a spiritual “buzz” and get involved in everything Christian in their church and community and after a while it wears off and becomes less exciting and downright boring? It is so easy to get to burdened down with doing Christian things that we lose our glow and the spirit within us becomes weak.
Boredom kills intimacy. In my pursuit of God I have found that with a structured and disciplined Christian life comes the potential for routine and boredom. As my daily spiritual disciplines become mere routine, before long, they can degenerate into empty ritual, and empty ritual into boredom.
What can you and I do to keep our relationship with God fresh, vital, and charged up? Doing things for God may be good for the kingdom, but when we get overloaded, we get into a spiritual rut.
To keep our spiritual batteries fully charged, we need to pull away and spend sufficient alone time with God. We do that in our daily quiet time, by reading and studying God’s Word and by praying, not so much with our petitions to God, but in our listening to Him. We should pray continually, share daily and become aware of God’s work within us and around us. We tend to become what we think about all day long. Are we thinking of things above or are we thinking of things of this earth. Are we living under the arm of flesh or the arm of faith.
Remember to keep your spiritual batteries fully charged and no matter what comes your way, your spiritual fail safe mechanism will be with you in all the ways of life.

“ Because God wanted to show his unchangeable purpose even more clearly to the heirs of the promise, he guaranteed it with an oath,” Hebrews 6:17 CSB

If there is one characteristic that might describe us all, more than any other trait, it would have to be that we are changeable and unpredictable. We are not dependable. How wonderful then to know and serve someone who never changes – who is the same yesterday, today and forever. We can know what to expect from Him in any given situation without fear of a sudden change in behavior, thought or purpose.
A scientist knows there are laws governing the universe and that those laws are inviolate. Thus, when President John F. Kennedy challenged industry to put a man on the moon, a mobilized army of scientists and engineers was able to accomplish the feat within nine years from the drawing board stage. When the assignment was given, no one knew what to do, and yet there were basic laws – dependable, trustworthy laws of the universe – on which they could build. Through much creative planning and thinking, the miracle occurred.
Today, it is commonplace to send men into space. God of the universe, who established the laws that govern all life, never changes. Our moods and our attitudes and actions vacillate, but God never changes. That is the reason we can absolutely, without question, believe His promises, and in so doing, release His mighty supernatural resources in terms of money, manpower and technology to envelop the entire world of almost five billion people with the most joyful news ever announced.
We are reminded in Hebrews 11:6 that without faith it is impossible to please God. Have you learned how to claim the promises of God by faith? When you do, you will learn how to live supernaturally.
Bible Reading: Psalms 102:24-28
Today’s Action Point: Realizing that God has bound Himself with an oath to keep His promise, I shall trust and obey Him no matter what happens, for this is the way to supernatural living. This is the way to maximize myself for the glory of God.

Remain blessed.

“We call Abraham “father” not because he got God’s attention by living like a saint, but because God made something out of Abraham when he was a nobody.” Romans 4:17 (MSG)

Abraham was an ordinary guy. There was nothing spectacular about him. He had no hidden talents, no supernatural faith, no outstanding ideas, and no blazing personality. He was a nobody.
But God took that ordinary man and turned him into a somebody.
I’m an ordinary girl. But I believe in a God who raises the dead to life and who makes something out of nothing. He did that for me.
When I met Jesus and turned my life over to Him, I saw my sin for what it was — a vile ugly mess. I opened my heart to His forgiveness, and this undeserved privilege, this grace, made me one of His own children!
God took this nobody of a girl and turned her into a somebody. And He can do the same for you!
“For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. Yet God freely and graciously declares that we are righteous. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins. For God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, shedding his blood.” Romans 3:23-25 (NLT)
If you have never invited Christ into your life, this gift is waiting for you. Or maybe you’ve accepted it, but have put it on the shelf to collect dust. God is waiting for you to receive His grace, and let Him transform your life. All you have to do is say yes.
Lord, I’m a sinner and I know there’s nothing I can do to rescue me from my sins. I believe You did it all for me when You paid the price for my sins. I surrender my life to You. Amen.

Thought: If you prayed this prayer today, tell someone, such as a family member, friend or pastor

“I have given them the glory You gave Me – the glorious unity of being one, as We are – I in them and You in Me, all being perfected into one – so that the world will know You sent Me and will understand that You love them as much as You love Me”
John 17:22,23

One day, as I was reading this prayer of Jesus to God the Father, I leaped from my chair in excitement when I realized that God loves me as much as He loves His only begotten Son!
What is more, He loves us unconditionally. That means He loves us not because we are good, or worthy of His love, but simply because of who He is.
Of course, the miracle of it all is that when Jesus, who is the incarnation of God’s love, comes to live within us, that same supernatural love becomes operative within us, enabling us to love others supernaturally as well.
Agape (sacrificial, supernatural and unconditional love) is best described in the well – known and oft – quoted 13th chapter of 1 Corinthians:
“Love is very patient and kind, never jealous or envious, never boastful or proud, never haughty or selfish or rude. Love does not demand its own way. It is not irritable or touchy. It does not hold grudges and will hardly even notice when others do it wrong. It is never glad about injustice, but rejoices whenever truth wins out. If you love someone you will be loyal to him no matter what the cost. You will always believe in him, always expect the best of him, and always stand your ground in defending him.”

Question: What limitations do we sometimes try to put on God’s love? Why are such limitations illegitimate?

Are you an inspiration to others?

Being an inspiration means living your life so thoughtfully, enthusiastically, and compassionately that you inspire others to do the same.

Everyone makes an impact in one way or another. Sometimes this influence is so powerful that it makes other people feel empowered and make them do things that they felt were impossible.

Have compassion in your heart, spread love and joy, and pursue your life with passion. Your thoughts and actions have the power to inspire; let them make others feel powerful.

God’s Competence in Clay Pots

Hear God’s Word for you in 2 Corinthians 4:7. “But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.”

Your Father wants you to be completely whole in belonging and worth, in identity and legitimacy.
Be blessed to know without question what a treasure you are to Him. Be blessed to live as the special treasure you are. As you know who you are, you will understand the “why” of what you do. Be blessed with knowing your purpose and the specific blessings that God has stored up for you.

Be blessed in the name of the One who is all-surpassing power. Be blessed with knowing experientially that Jesus is the “how” of everything you are and do. Paul asked the rhetorical question, “What do you have that you did not receive?” (1 Corinthians 4:7). And the answer is nothing. God is your competence (2 Corinthians 3:5). Know that it is “not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,” says the LORD Almighty (Zechariah 4:6). You can be confident, knowing that apart from Him you can do nothing (John 15:5), but in Him you can do everything (Philippians 4:13).

You can be confident in the core of your being in following God’s will, not your own; in speaking His words, not your own; in doing His work, as He does His work of intimately revealing Himself. Thank God for your God-given competence, but don’t allow your competence to become your identity. Be blessed with healing in your deepest doubts and your deepest wounds of identity, so that you do not have to strive to prove that you are worthy, legitimate, significant, and deserving of honor.

God designed you for unique good works in Christ (Ephesians 2:10). There are some things He placed you in the world to do that you can do better than anybody else, because of who He designed you to be. Be blessed in everything He designed you to be to fulfill His purpose on the earth. As you align yourself with who God designed you to be, you will be fulfilled, and the world will be blessed.

Be blessed in the name of the One who is your all-surpassing power (2 Corinthians 4:7).

Ephesians 3:20 says, “Now all glory to God, who is able, through His mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.”

Infinitely more. Is your God too small? Will your asking bring Him all glory? Giving all glory to God means that you show God that you respect and love Him above everything else. When you do this, He is already way ahead of you, preparing to give you bigger things than you can imagine.
Shalom

God is…
My Tower that never crumbles;
My Light that never flickers;
My Hiding Place that never closes;
My Shield that has no chinks;

My Guardian who doesn’t take naps;
My Eternal King whose banner I joyously wave;
My Ocean of Love that never has a low tide;
My Provider whose shelves are never empty;
My Physician who still makes house calls;
My Father who is never too busy to be with His child;
My Creator who knew what He was doing when He made me.
“O God, Your ways are holy. Is there any god as mighty as You? You are the God of great wonders!” Psalm 77:13-14
