Joseph had a dream.
Genesis 37:9-11 (KJV) “And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me. And he told it to his father, and to his brethren: and his father rebuked him, and said unto him, What is this dream that thou hast dreamed? Shall I and thy mother and thy brethren indeed come to bow down ourselves to thee to the earth? And his brethren envied him; but his father observed the saying.”
Listen carefully: the father and the brethren of Joseph understood the dream immediately when they heard it. It was easy for them to interpret. They understood so much, envy started immediately. The eleven stars were used to represent his brethren.
This is a night you need to listen and have understanding.
Matthew 2:2, 9 (KJV) says, “Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. (These men could see the star of the Lord Jesus Christ. So if those men could easily identify the star of the Lord Jesus, the star of anyone here will not be a problem for the enemy and anyone to locate.)”
“When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.”
The star stood on top of where Jesus was. There is something among our people, a concept among our people, where our ignorant parents sometimes go to enquire from diviners, sorcerers, and native doctors on what a person would become. So that information they are looking for is information about your star, and this inquiry is where the problem of so many people starts from. So, everyone has a star. Everyone is born with a star. I want to make a pronouncement now. The loudest volume your voice can gather is what I want you to use to shout.
● I decree upon your life now that whether you like it or not, your star must shine in the name of Jesus.
So what do we mean by “your star”? It is:
∆∆ The embodiment of your destiny.
∆∆ The carrier of your destiny.
∆∆ That divine deposit that God has put in your life to make difficult things easy for you.
∆∆ The totality of a man’s life.
∆∆ That thing in you that amounts to your own excellence.
∆∆ The glory formed by God and given to you from birth. God does not create failures; it is when people get on earth here and they make mistakes or get attacked that they become failures.
∆∆ That thing in you that amounts to your wisdom and skill.
∆∆ That thing in you that can bring you wealth.
∆∆ That thing in you that can make you who you are.
∆∆ That thing in you that people can pay for.
∆∆ That thing in you that people should reward you for.
∆∆ Your destined glory and blessing deposited into your foundation by God. “We have seen His star in the East, and we have come to worship Him.”
● I am praying for somebody here: every evil observer of stars that has been following you from the womb: with a sevenfold amen, bury them, in the name of Jesus.
That star is:
∆∆ The thing in you that men will bow for.
∆∆ That thing that people will acknowledge.
∆∆ The good thing in you that people will doff their hats for.
∆∆ The good thing in you that people will bow for.
∆∆ The good thing in you that people will raise a flag for.
∆∆ The good thing in you that people can celebrate. The day some people’s star got dimmed was the day their celebration stopped. That is why you see some young children start their battle early.
Many of them is because their stars have been discovered, and the enemy wants to take every step to see that they do not achieve it.
● I am praying for somebody here: every evil hand laid on your head that is pulling down your star, with another sevenfold amen, bury them, in the name of Jesus.
That star is the good thing in you that brings success anointing.
● I decree that your star shall shine by the power in the blood of Jesus.
● Say this three times: my star shall shine by the power in the blood of Jesus.
YOUR STAR IS:
¶¶ Your spiritual potential. It is a tragedy when you are a shining star and you bow down before a lower star in the name of “this person should pray for me” or “that person should pray for me” because they will lay hands and suppress the star.
I want to tell you a true life story. The reason I am going to tell you is because I want you to lose your temper in the Holy Ghost.
It was in my church many years back. A seventy-year-old man got born again. The man was so full of the joy of the Holy Ghost. He would sing, dance, and clap the loudest, even more than the young ones. So he was always bustling with energy in our services. He was so happy that he had found Christ at an old age. One day, we arrived at an evening revival service, and we saw him with his head bowed. He was not singing or dancing. He looked very unhappy.
We went to him and asked, “Daddy, what is the problem? You are not singing or dancing.” He said, “Sir, I saw one boy under the bridge at Ebute-ero looking haggard and mad, and I remember what happened.” He said that when he was in the occultic world, they invited him and his friend, another occultic man, to a naming ceremony. When they got there, they found the child with seven shining stars on his head. So he and his friend decided to share the stars out. He took four, and his friend took three.
He said, “Sir, that was a long time ago. But the boy whose star we removed was under the bridge”, and he felt sad that he was the one that did it.
Do you see the danger behind praying ice-cream prayers? Now that boy is a useless vagabond under the bridge. The man who removed the star is now born again, and the mystery of our faith is that the Lord will accept him, and it may be a shock that you who were careless and allowed yourself to be killed will end up in hellfire. Then the witch that did it has now found his way to heaven.
Meaning that if you allow witches and wizards to chew you as a chewing stick, after you have been killed, that witch or wizard will now come to church and get born again. This is why I am telling you, because I want you to lose your temper.
Close your eyes now and let your voice roar the way it has never roared before. The brethren of Joseph, having been made aware of his star, said, “Let us kill him and see what becomes of his star.” Dead men tell no stories.
● Powers, assigned to kill me because of my star, you are liars, die, in the name of Jesus.
So, that your star is:
¶¶ Your divine light.
¶¶ Your divine assignment.
¶¶ Your divine recognition.
¶¶ Your glory.
¶¶ Your source of hope and joy.
¶¶ Your eternal legacy.
¶¶ Who you are, before God.
¶¶ Your destiny symbol.
¶¶ The token of your divine announcement.
¶¶ Your divine signature.
¶¶ A symbol of your purpose and calling.
¶¶ A symbol of your visibility in darkness.
So, these Manna water services are days of very aggressive prayers. And to be quite honest with you, any prayer against star hunters is not for lazy people. The devil has promoted his agents to a level where they are able to cage, deaden, dim, misdirect, pull down or darken a person’s star. So prayers against these kinds of agents have to be hard, acidic, well-targeted, and bombarding in nature in order to get any results. It is not a five or ten-minute prayer.
This is a serious matter. I was running a lady through deliverance in 1985, and she came to church and said she wanted to talk to me about something.
I asked what it was, and she said, “I want to confess my sins.” Then she brought out a polythene bag. Inside the bag was this traditional lamp that uses palm oil. So she gave it to me. I asked, “What is this?” She said, “It is a very powerful instrument.” I asked, “Powerful instrument?” She said, “Yes. If a child is born on our street or anywhere and the parents cannot pray, or the child is not covered with the power of God, once I put on this lamp at 1am and call the name of the child, everything the child should become will show up on that flame, and at that level, we can stop it.”
One terrible mistake that our parents made was to go in ignorance and enquire about the stars of their children from the devil. They will say, “What manner of child is this?” From that inquiry, evil powers gain insights into a person’s life, and manipulations begin, and from there, the star hunters begin their destructive business.
This is the origin of many stubborn problems. I am going to give four examples before we start praying. Listen very carefully.
The first example: This man struggled and struggled and struggled. He was not getting anywhere until he arrived in MFM years back at the age of sixty-something. When one of his parents was about to die, the parent said to him, “I have a secret I want to tell you. When you were born, we went to a witch doctor and asked what kind of child you would be.” And the native doctor said, ‘Ha! This is a foreigner! A foreigner! This is a white Black man. He will control whites! Once he leaves Nigeria, he will not come back.’
The parents said, ‘Okay. What can we do? We do not want him to go. He is the only male child. What can we do so that he does not travel?’ And the native doctor asked, ‘Do you still have his placenta?’ They replied, ‘Yes.’ He said, ‘Bring the placenta.’ They took this placenta to the native doctor’s place, and he issued incantations and said, “As stone does not float in water, this child should never leave this country.”
They threw the stone with the placenta into the lagoon. This man passed all foreign exams and had a total of twelve scholarships, but he could not go. Then there was a white man that got so concerned with this young man and said, “I will come to Nigeria and get you myself.” On the second day for the white man to come and fetch him, the white man died.
● I am praying for somebody here: if your parents have mistakenly buried your star, recover it, in the name of Jesus.
The second example: again, some parents went to consult. “What will this child become?” The diviner said, “I see this your child riding in all kinds of diverse cars. But I see one of the cars becoming his coffin.” The parents asked, “You mean he will eventually die in a coffin?” He said, “Yes, he will die in a car.” The parents asked again, “Is there anything we can do so that he does not eventually die in a car?” You know, the devil is very wicked. So, the native doctor replied, “The only solution is to give him the spirit of poverty so that he will not even be able to afford a bicycle. That is the way he will stay alive.” The parents agreed. He died as a pauper.
The third example: I know some parents too who went to a diviner, and he said, “This child will prosper so much. When he is rich, he will not listen to you anymore.” All these kinds of things these diviners say, they have left out divine intervention. They pushed God to one corner. They have forgotten that no matter the bad situation facing a life, you can overcome it. The fact that you were born in a manger does not mean you should die in a manger.
So, the parents of the child asked the diviner, “What do we do so that he will listen to us?” The diviner replied, “Take his placenta, eat his soup and eat it.” So his parents did it. The mother ate three-quarters of the placenta. This child now has become a man and is unable to take any decision without travelling home to meet his parents. When the father died, the mother became his controller.
Eventually, this man too died. He wrote a will and left out his wife and children but included his own mother in the will. His ignorant wife wasted years fighting her husband instead of dealing with the star hunters.
● I am praying for somebody here one more time: if your star has been buried by any star hunter, recover them, in the name of Jesus.
The fourth example: this man went out to look for juju in order to do money magic. He was given seven options:
He should put a money making co**se in his bedroom. The co**se should be a close relative and he would be a stinkingly rich billionaire but that he would die at age 47. This man was already 45 years old. He was a very decent man, so he rejected this option.
He should go to the cemetery, look for the grave of a rich man that died, and sleep on the top of that grave for 301 days. He must eat his food and have his bath there. He asked the native doctor, “What if some spirits appear to me at night?” He was a decent man, so he rejected that option.
==> In this option, he would be very rich, but he would lose all his children and finally his wife. He would also be buried by strangers. But he would be very rich. He rejected this offer because he was a decent man.
==> In this option, there is a magic snake which he would need to try and swallow. Anytime he needed money, he would make an incantation, vomit the snake, and the snake would vomit money, and he would swallow the snake again. He rejected this offer because he said he was afraid to move close to snakes.
==>The fifth option was that he would need to join sixteen cults and offer one human sacrifice per year. But if he did not want to offer a human sacrifice, he should go and look for three albinos and kill them, bringing their blood. He said “no”. He refused to do that one because he was a decent man.
==> The next option was to go and locate and impregnate three mad women at night. Then when they gave birth, he would steal their children from them. Once he could bring those children, he would be stinkingly rich. There was a condition attached: he must never sight the sea. He asked, “It means I cannot fly in the plane because the sea is below.” He did not want that one because he was a decent man.
He was given the final option, which was to locate three women who were unconscious walking goldmines.
You know there are some women who, if they go to the market to sell things, sell out before anyone else.
There are some women who, when they get married, their husbands become rich. So he was to locate those kinds of women. He was not to marry them; he was just to sleep with them, cut materials from their bodies like p***c hair, hair on the head or armpits, and bring them, and the witch doctor would help him do the magic.
This was the option he picked. He picked the option of using the virtues and stars of the women.
● I am praying for somebody here today: any star hunter assigned to trouble you, to steal from you, shall perish tonight, in the name of Jesus. (a sevenfold amen).
So it is not in vain that the Bible orders us to “Arise, shine, for thy light is come”.
When the Bible says “Shine”, it means:
✓✓ Stand out in achievement.
✓✓ Refuse to be demoted.
✓✓ Distinguish yourself.
✓✓ Be a man or woman of distinction.
✓✓ Be an example to others; be someone others will emulate.
✓✓ Pierce the darkness in your family and come out.
✓✓ Be a showpiece.
✓✓ Be a pacesetter.
✓✓ Be a light to those in darkness.
✓✓ Hate your present level of attainment with perfect hatred.
✓Tower above others.
✓✓ Be an example of what God can do.
I stand here tonight to express lamentation and sorrow for so many stars that have been taken away, stolen, buried, deadened, dimmed, transferred, scattered, and made to become vagabonds, moving all over the place.
Each time I travel abroad, I see so many of these wandering stars.
For many of them, the enemy has given them hard drugs and made them sleep naked on the streets, and the Holy Spirit will say to me, “Son, you see that man over there struggling to remain on his feet? If he had remained where he was, he would have become the president of his country. Now see him now. His star has been made to wander aimlessly.”
PRAYER POINTS.
[Before Message]
1. Strange voices stopping my rain of testimonies, you are liars: die, in the name of Jesus.
2. People that will show me the way, wherever you are: come forth, in the name of Jesus.
3. People that will contribute to my success, wherever you are: come forth, in the name of Jesus.
4. Lift up your heads, ye everlasting doors: and let the King of Glory visit me today, in the name of Jesus. (A Sevenfold Amen).
[After Message]
1. Powers stepping on my picture to steal my star, die, in the name of Jesus.
2. Any power that has paid money to an evil shrine to steal my star, run mad and die, in the name of Jesus.
3. Any affliction assigned to make me feed from my enemies, die, in the name of Jesus.
4. Struggles passed to me by my parents, break, in the name of Jesus.
