*PROTOCOLS TO MARRIAGE*

*Reflections from Genesis 24:51-53*

*“Here is Rebekah before you; take her and go, and let her be your master’s son’s wife, as the Lord has spoken.’ And it came to pass, when Abraham’s servant heard their words…Then the servant brought out jewelry of silver, jewelry of gold, and clothing, and gave them to Rebekah. He also gave precious things to her brother and to her mother.”*

*Here are three protocols to marriage. Marriage must be anchored on the Word of God. Nobody should get married just because he loves someone. God needs to play an active role in the entire process. It was clear that the hand of the Lord was leading Abraham’s servant to Rebekah and Rebekah’s family acknowledged this when they heard the account of the events.*

*Marriage must not be an opportunity for making wealth. Rebekah’s family did not ask for anything but permitted the servant to take Rebekah because the Lord had spoken. It’s not wrong to request for dowry but making dowry a pathway to personal enrichment is selling your daughter into slavery.*

*Marriage requires a payment of some sort to the bride and the family. The extent of your love for the girl within the limitations of your resources should guide your giving. Give extravagantly if you have the means. Give in love. Give in gratitude. But don’t borrow to give as that is falsehood.*

*“Lord, help our children and young people to marry correctly. Assist them in choosing their spouses after they have heard the voice of God. And help us, parents, not to transform our children into cash machines for personal enrichment. This I pray, in Jesus’ name. Amen.”*

*TOPIC:-* *TRUTH MUST BE REVEALED*
*Reflections* *From *Matthew 11:27*

*“All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.”*

*You shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free. But how do you know the truth to attain unto that deeply desired freedom? The truth is that Truth cannot be discovered by self-revelation or self-effort. To understand the Truth, God must reveal it to you. God is the Truth, the only Source, and Fountain of all Truth. Outside of God, all declared truths are all lies. That is why even when Jesus was with Pilate and said He came to show the Truth, Pilate asked, “What is Truth?” Although He stood before the physical embodiment of all eternal Truth, He could not recognize Truth.*

*Truth must be revealed. Jesus’ primary reason for coming to us was to reveal the Father to us. We cannot understand or experience Truth unless Jesus reveals Him to us. We cannot judge correctly nor see correctly, neither understand correctly, except Jesus does a work of grace in our hearts. Our greatest need, therefore, is for Jesus. Note that this revelation of the Father happens to whom Jesus “wills” to reveal Him to. This means we cannot force the revelation. It means that Jesus will reveal His Father to whom He chooses. Do we want a deeper insight into God, a deeper experience of God, and a deeper overflow of God? Then let us draw nearer to Jesus, for as He said, “none can come to the Father, except through Me.” (John 14:6)*

*“Jesus, I need You so much because I am impotent and incapacitated without You. I cannot know God or experience God, without You. I draw nigh to You and ask that You reveal God the Father to me in a new way. In Your name, I pray. Amen.”*

Is of a truth that Life is all about connection but at same time we shouldn't be forgetful or ignorant about the great and greater connection that we must first be connected to, whom is God our Creator that can connect even the lowest esteem, this another year that we have started with God's Grace, I want to beg of you,"that you should be sure of your connection with God as you too have been protected beyond year 2020, it is of God Grace that we too are not consume in that great year of turn around. God want to do settlement this year but before that time and season! Please be connected to God and be very sure that your connection with Him is secured. Happy weekend.

Remember that this life is all about sacrifice and let it be known to you that we need no other sacrifice than that Christ Jesus has made Himself to be on the cross of Calvary for all who will come to Him for the remission of their Sins and that they might be Save through the work of Salvation that the Death and the resurrection Christ has offered to all........!

*Leftovers are such humble things,*
*We would not serve them to a guest,*
*And yet we serve them to our Lord*
*Who deserves our best.*
*We give to Him leftover time,*
*Stray minutes here and there,*
*Leftover cash we give to Him,*
*Such few coins as we can spare,*
*We give our youth to the world,*
*To hatred, lust, and strife;*
*Then in declining years we give*
*To Him the remnant of our life.*
