Topic: Signs that you need Revival
*Many factors could necessitate a revival. In fact, there are several danger signs along the pilgrim’s pathway that can give him/her the signal of the need for revival. Some of these signs are :
1.When you pray less than before(1 Thess 5: 17)
2.Whne you do not study the word as before ( josh 1: 8, deut 17: 18-19, psalm 1: 1-2)
3.When you sleep too much ( proverb 6: 9-11, proverbs 20:13, Psalm 13: 3-4)
4.When you are depressed or sad(john 14: 1, Psalm 30: 5, 2 cor 4: 17)
5.When your zeal to attend weekly services dies away (psalm 69:9, Psalm 26:8, Psalm 119:2, Psalm 122:1)
6.When your love for material wealth is overriding your longing for spiritual wealth (1 John 2: 15-17, Gal 6: 14, 2 Tim 2: 4)
7.When you over eat or eats uncontrollably ( Proverbs 23: 21, Phil 3: 19)
8.When your faith grows weak (Psalms 27: 1, Isa43: 2)
9.When you are full of anxieties i.e worry you over every little thing (matt 6:25-34, 1 peter 5: 7)
10.When you begin to talk too much ( Jam 1: 26, Eccl. 3: 7, proverb 17: 27)
11.When you become impatient (Eccl 7: 8, Heb 10: 36, Jam 1: 4)
12.When bible teachings and words from the pulpit no longer touches your heart(1 Tim 4)
