Prophet (Dr.) Emmanuel Adewale Abiodun Alogbo joined the saints at 93 as Cherubim & Seraphim Movement Church Announces Transition to Glory
The Cherubim & Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, Ayo Ni O, has officially announced the passing of its Spiritual Father and Supreme Head, His Most Eminence Prophet (Dr.) Emmanuel Adewale Abiodun Alogbo, JP, FNCAM, DDM, GCOMS.
According to an official circular issued by the church's International Secretariat in Galilee, Orile-Igbon, Oyo State, Prophet Alogbo passed away peacefully in the early hours of Thursday, July 30, 2026, at approximately 2:10 a.m., at his residence. The church stated that he was surrounded by members of his family and domestic staff at the time of his transition.
The announcement, signed by the Secretary General, Snr. Sp. Ap. Prophet (Dr.) Anthony Olusesan Samaye, described the late cleric as having been "called to glory" after a life of dedicated service to God and the Church.
Prophet Alogbo was 93 years old.
The church further disclosed that daily prayer sessions will be held at 5:00 p.m. for seven consecutive days at his residence located at Plot 1 Alogbo Close, off Ahmadiyya Bus Stop, Ijaiye Okojoro, Lagos.
Church leadership prayed for God to grant the deceased eternal rest and strengthen members of the church to bear what it described as an irreparable loss.
The statement added that burial arrangements will be announced at a later date.
The announcement has been circulated to church management, district chairmen, conference supervisors, mission directors, church elders, ministers-in-charge, zonal secretaries, and other church leaders across the Cherubim & Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, Ayo Ni O.
