Second lesson: Mark 15:24-25
And when they had crucified him, they parted his garments, casting lots among them, what every man should take. And it was the third hour, and they crucified him. If the situation was not the fulfillment of prophecy, have you guns, or money, or wisdom to have attained a Republican status of your own? That is what the death of Christ accomplished for us. Right now you are free. Even though you have no money, you have the Father. In 1940, and up till 1950, you were slaves to colonialists. All the land was Crown Land. You had no say whatever in the running of the government. You remember that when Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe said that Nigeria, and the whole of Africa should fight for their Independence, people argued that we were not ripe for self-government. Today Nigeria is a Republic of our own. South Africa is on its way to liberation, If you were a slave, your master would not allow you to do anything. The wisdom possessed by Black man cannot be compared with that of twenty whitemen. The power possessed by one blackman is not possessed by a hundred whitemen. God has made the Blackman superior in wisdom, power and intelligence. You will witness what the blackman will accomplish. A certain Whiteman from Canada came to 34, Ambo Street, Calabar and asked me if I will accept him if he practices some of the gospels of God. Another Whiteman came and told me that they do not practise all the words of God. They only select those they can practise. They do not want anything that will disturb them. But the Blacks are trying to practise all the words of God. We have people here who have been to Europe. If somebody tells you that the Whites have wisdom or money, that is not true. What our Lord Jesus Christ has done for us is that the whole world may be united. If we are all united there will no problems again.
6:7 THE BLACKMAN IS LIBERATED
It was God who said that the elder shall serve the younger. Right now the elder and the younger are one. If he did not die, nothing would have made the elder and, the younger to unite again, nor will the world be united. Since He created man, he came and died so that he may gather into one all that was divided. The whites and the blacks are now one. Male and female are now one. Small and great are now one. Do not cause division again because we are all one. It is good for one to first suffer under servitude than to be a lord before becoming a slave. Do you not realise that if some body who is born with a silver spoon in his mouth, that is, he has everything he needs, exhausted his wealth, he can commit su***de. The person who starts life in poverty, lack, deprivation, without relations, when he prospers he will continue to go onward. The Blacks are going onward, there is no going back. That is why I have invited Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe to come and have dialogue with me. The wealth, prosperity and peace which are in Africa will never he exhausted. You are walking on top of wealth. The whites are finding all possible ways to come over here. The whole world knows this but a crafty person will not disclose it to you. That is why it has been said in the Scriptures that you have been placed where all precious stones and wealth are found. You have gold and diamond, and emerald and all precious stones and minerals. This refers to Africa. The wealth and mineral resources we have in Africa will never be exhausted. Right now you are struggling so that the Whites may not come and share in your wealth. Let them come in because our Lord Jesus Christ died to unite all of us. There will be no wars, quarrelling and hunger. It is hunger which brings about war. Do not fold your arms. Howbeit, whether you fold your arms or not, since it has been ordained that the Blacks will serve God. This has to be so. The Whites will also serve him and together we shall join hands in lifting the glory of God. The Whites and the Blacks will be here, and hunger, famine and wars shall be no more. All that we see today do not come from man. It is the death of our Lord Jesus Christ which has brought everything. They are all words of prophecy and the manifestation of the will and plan of God for mankind. The darkest hour precedes the dawn. That is all that we are seeing now. You complain that things are very tough; I want you to be rest assured that all is well. The only thing is that you should not learn the ways of the whites because they have failed. Listen to the Holy Spirit. If we listen to the Holy Spirit, we will help them. They have failed by using the wisdom of the world. They are all walking corpses because they are living an artificial life.
6:8 FOREIGN CULTURES HARM US
When you return from Europe, you live abominably here, thinking that it is the best way of life. It is not the best life. You have to go and straighten all that was crooked. The infiltration of foreign cultures has done great harm to our country. Whoever returns from Europe behaves like a European. You fornicate by the roadside, and can commit any vice in the open because that is what you learnt from the whites. I thank God because Africa is a jungle. We shall start to hew down our big trees and start building our own cities, and live according to God's ways. It is for this reason that we must always listen to the Spirit. Do not listen to any whiteman or to any person for that matter. Live a new life because this is the new world for which our Lord Jesus Christ died and resurrected so that it may be built again. This is the New Jerusalem, the New World. What you see here has baffled the whiteman because he has introduced the cinema, he has manufactured the aeroplane, the submarine and many other things, thinking that is the way. But when you say "LET" and sickness goes away and many other things happen, they find this wonderful because it is not within the limits of their wisdom. For this reason they become frightened. And so brethren, every human invention is counterfeit; but what is made by God is genuine. That is why he came and gave up his life. Eventhough Pilate tried to save him, he could not because there is no crown without a cross. Since the world has perished, he came to redeem the whole world unto himself .We all have to rise up. Do not put on ties and coats and hats and sit down doing nothing. If Christ came and dressed with shoes and hats and did nothing, we would not have been saved. He was disgraced and killed, and he endured all in order that we may be saved. The Whites have a great work to do in this Kingdom. Do not say that they are not here. They are. All those who are in this country have work to do in this Kingdom of God. Take the case of Joseph of Arimathea as an example. He did not walk with our Lord Jesus Christ but see what he did. Those who are working hard for Brotherhood of the Cross and Star outside are doing the same work of God. Let our golden text be read so that you may know that all of us have work to do in this Kingdom. The whites have work to do, the blacks, children, young and old, all have work to do. All you have to do is to face your duty.

THE DEATH OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST UNITES THE WORLD

Golden Text: Luke 23:50-53
And, behold, there was a man named Joseph, a counsellor; and he was a good man, and a just. The same had not consented to the counsel and deed of them, he was of Arimathea, a city of the Jews: who also himself waited for the Kingdom of God. This man went unto Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus. And he took it down, and wrapped it in linen, and laid it in a sepulchre that was hewn in stone, wherein never man before was laid
Brethren, the texts summarize the theme of our revelation. We can preach a verse of each of the texts for twenty years because each passage contains its peculiar teachings and revelations. However, we will not spend our time in detailed explanation. We are doing a little sketch, summarising everything in a nutshell. Other occasions will provide the opportunity for detailed explanation. This gospel is premised on the fact that it was on Thursday, at 6 a.m. that our Lord Jesus Christ was condemned to death. At. 6 a.m. on Thursday Pilate condemned him to death and at 9 a.m. he was crucified. The scripture reveals how Pilate himself tried to set Him free. He kept four hundred soldiers on guard to quell any riot should he release the Christ. Since it was the will of God, the Jews mounted great pressure on Pilate and kept shouting that our Lord Jesus Christ should he crucified. In order to forestall any possible riot, Pilate scourged and delivered the Lord Jesus to the Jews to sacrifice. In response to what Pilate said in order to disassociate himself from their desire to crucify Him, the Jews shouted that His blood should be upon them, and upon their children, and their children's children. Go today and see the pathetic state of Israel. When you argue that you want to do what the Israelites did, go and see their condition today. The ruler of heaven and earth was born to lead and rule over them, but they rejected and killed Him. Until doomsday such an opportunity will never offer Itself to them again. Their repentance today means nothing because they had pronounced that His blood should be upon them and upon their children and upon their children's children. This should be a great lesson for you and me and all the inhabitants of the world.
6.1 ISRAEL LOST ITS CHANCE
Israel was the nation that God loved above any other nation. The Bible was written by them. Abraham was of that stock. They were the chosen people of God. But what Is the position of Israel now? This will show you that "though hand be joined together In prayer, the wicked shall not go unpunished". If we were to be wise, we would have learnt a great lesson from what had happened to the Israelites. If you come across a man of God, leave him alone to his way because you do not know what that person is. It does not pay any person to commit any evil or ever think of it. Because whatever you sow the same you will reap. In his judgment, Pilate admitted he found no fault in Him. Have you ever seen a governor who finds no guilt or fault in someone and yet condemns the person? It was because he was seeking for the glory of the world. He wanted to release Him but they told him that if he released Him, he would not be a friend to Caesar. For that reason, he was afraid. Think of a situation where someone is brought before the court and he is not found guilty. On what grounds will he be convicted by the court? The quest for the things of the world carries the people of the world into destruction. Pilate's wife went by herself and told her husband that her soul had suffered terribly that night because of that man, Jesus. She warned Pilate to have nothing to do with His death. When Judas Iscariot saw that Christ was condemned, he took the thirty pieces of silver and threw it at the Jews, saying that he had betrayed an innocent blood. That was another testimony to Christ's innocence. Pilate himself, who was the governor, admitted that he saw no evil In Him. Who is the person In whom no fault is found except God? Think of any person in the world. In whom no fault is found? Our Lord Jesus Christ had no fault and Pilate confirmed this. Why then was He crucified? He died for your sake and mine; for the sake of all the inhabitants of the world. His death was to redeem all the inhabitants of the world from their sins. The question is; has man realised his position? If we were to understand what he has done for us, there would be no person in the world, who would not rejoice today. Since he is our Creator, He came and shed His blood to take away our sins, He is the one who will change us unto Himself. This gospel is meant to strengthen your faith so that when people make a statue of the crucifixion and tell you that it is the Lord Jesus, you know what to say. By their action, they still assert that our Lord Jesus is still hanging. But He did not hang on the cross for more than nine hours. To portray that our Lord Jesus Christ is still on the cross is a source of confusion for so many people. If you tell people that he is on the cross, those with weak minds will question the rationale behind following someone who is perpetually on the cross. The death contract was for seventy two hours only. For ever and ever such a contract will never be signed again. This gospel will concentrate on the time he was condemned, and when he was taken into the grave. It will convince you that, he was really killed. Having been convinced of his death, you will also understand what it means about his resurrection. Moreso, you should note that God is able to do everything and thus allay your fears about death.
6:2 THERE IS NO DEATH
You are advised not to fear death, because as our Lord Jesus Christ demonstrated, there is no death. The promise of conquering death Is not for him alone, but for you and me and for all creation throughout eternity who believe in Him. He came to reveal his power and glory, that he is the I AM THAT I AM. It is not meant to instill fear Into someone to serve God. It does not call for indecision. I have always told you that If you do not preach about Our Lord Jesus Christ, you have not preached the word of God. The Word of God is Our Lord Jesus Christ. When you talk about other things, besides Him, you are talking carnally and your words are vain. We shall explain each of these texts at other times and emphasize what they stand for. The lesson today shows us that we have boldness because he has taken away from us death, tribulation, sorrows and all kinds of weaknesses on one hand. On the other hand, the doubts we have been entertaining about God are cleared. It provides us a golden opportunity to rejoice fully in Him. Take the action of Joseph of Arimathea as an example. Did any of the twelve disciples do what he did? When you argue that you are the only Brotherhood of the Cross and star member in your family, how do you know that you are the only one? Every person has his specific work and service to God. Joseph of Arimathea had nothing to do with the decision of the counsel to crucify our Lord Jesus Christ. The decision was taken by a handful of persons. It is common to find that a few disgruntled persons occasionally take a decision in the name of the whole village. Joseph of Arimathea was not among them and he knew nothing about their evil plans. I want you to think about a person like Joseph of Arimathea who took that course of action. How do you regard him? He was not associated with our Lord Jesus Christ physically during such a critical time, yet he went straight to Pilate and asked for his body and Pilate gave it to him. Where have you ever seen such a man? Do you not realise that this was planned by God? Joseph of Arimathea laid Him in a sepulchre prepared for himself, where no one had ever before been laid. Who made such arrangements except God Himself? It is good for us to preach the life of our Lord Jesus Christ from his birth. This will give you joy, consolation, faith and boldness. This will brighten your eyes to see more and more that there is God. Right before his coming up till the time he finally died, all that was written about him were words of God. As I had already told you, Genesis to Revelation contain His story. If you have the Bible, believe in its message. If you do not believe in the writings of the Bible that is entirely your problem. All that happened, including the action of Joseph of Arimathea are all written in the Bible. His sufferings, death and resurrection were all prophesied in the scriptures. These events occurred so that your faith may be strengthened; that you may know that God exists. There has never been a time when God was not with his children. There has never been a time when God forsook his children. God does not save you because you serve Him or because you love Him. He does everything just to manifest his own glory. It was on Thursday 3 p.m. that our Lord Jesus Christ gave up the ghost. You are aware that If He did not give up the ghost, He would not have been taken to the sepulchre. If he did not die, the soldier would have broken his legs. If he did not die, he would not have resurrected after three days and three nights. . He has told us that unless a grain of corn falls to the ground and dies, it remains alone: but when it dies, it brings forth much fruit. It should have been a great surprise for our Creator to die and remain in the grave for ever. On the third day God caused him to resurrect. If you were to believe in him, would you not also believe that there is no death for you? For this reason he died and now lives. All those who believe in him will not perish but have everlasting life. Our first lesson will now be read.

He who conquers. I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God never shall he go out of it, and I will write on him the name of my God, the new Jerusalem which comes down from my God out of heaven, and MY OWN NEW NAME
5.11 JESUS CHRIST HAS A NEW NAME
Jesus Christ has come back with a different and new name. He is no more known, called and addressed as Jesus because His position now is greater than before. All the angels in heaven and earth and all other creation of God are under Him. He is the Judge of all of them, one after the other. He is the King of all creation. He is King of kings and the Lord of lords. His glory is not from man, it is not through election. No angel or any creation gave it to Him, so it cannot be taken away from Him. His wisdom and power are not from the world. The word that proceeds out of His month is what he uses to destroy the evil ones. All the nations of the world cannot withstand His anger if He is provoked. He knows whatever happens and whatever one does on earth or anywhere in the universe.
5:12 HE IS THE SOLE SPIRITUAL HEAD
He is the Sole Spiritual Head. He rules over all other spirits. He has come to rule over all the living and the dead, and He is no respecter of person as mentioned in the scriptures. He is the Word. He is everything. He is the Being that all spirits must bow down to and worship. He rules in love, patience, mercy and all other virtues of God. He does not make use of cane, rather He uses words to accomplish all His aims. At first He came to deliver His people from sinful ways of life. That was what He came for and nothing else. He came so that our sins may be forgiven. But now He comes back with all His glory, power and everything to judge the world and to rule the whole world with love, patience, mercy and other virtues. He is th Sole Spiritual Head of the Universe, He is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He has a new name and has His symbol O O O, the symbol of God now on earth. Call on this new name, Leader Olumba Olumba Obu and use this new symbol of God's name, OOO for your salvation, transformation and solution to all your problems in life. All things have now been made new, old things and names have passed away. I do not want to be tedious into you. Let those who have ears hear, may God bless His holy words. Amen.

Second lesson: Revelation 22 : 4
They shall see his face, and His name be on their foreheads.
Brethren, the Words of God come like fire. It is wonderful to see this type of glory that God has manifested to sinful people here in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. Examine from any record available, whether there has ever been a period of time similar to ours here in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. Forget about being a Prophet, a Pastor, a Visioner, a Bishop or an Apostle. All these names are deceptive and are full of falsehood. All those who have seen God face to face have got His name written on their foreheads by the one who has the secret name on His garment. Therefore, you are no longer known by those titles but by the name on your foreheads. No one hears of your name and no one knows you by your name any longer. If you like, write your names on your foreheads.
5.7 ALL THINGS SUBMIT TO YOU BECAUSE OF THIS NEW NAME
With this new name on your foreheads, wherever you may be, inside the water, on top of the hills, in the thick forest, everything that sees this name on your foreheads subjects and submits to you. You can travel to any part of the world fearlessly and nothing will rise up against you because of that name on your forehead. Therefore it is wise that you do not seek for any other names to answer or seek for position, for this name on your forehead surpasses everything in the world. Brethren, is it not a thing of joy for all of us sinners who are not deserving God's grace, that God has chosen to write His name on our foreheads? When people see you, they have invariably seen God, for you and God are one. Imagine this type of love for a person to be a King, and he identifies all his subjects as kings also. What a love! There is no discrimination as to who should have this name on his forehead. Why not emulate God's love? In the world, some churches do not want to see other members wearing the white gown. They say it is for the distinguished members only. Here in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, everyone is entitled to use it. It is the garment of glory. Whether one comes in today, that name will be written on his forehead and he becomes a citizen of this New Kingdom. You are no more known by any other name, but by the one on your forehead. One cannot hide your identity once this name has been written on his forehead. Though a sinner, have you seen that name inscribed on your forehead? With this name on your forehead, the world has rejected you, sin has rejected you; and you have no one on your side. You are of the Father. You are to walk fearlessly, for there is none that can challenge you. It is this boldness that makes people to wonder what you are given here in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. Every word of God is accompanied with power. Therefore, do not ask any question of what is written on your forehead, because all that were written about you are now fulfilled in this close of age. Do not worry yourselves to fast in order to know about the name on your forehead. Take the words that Christ spoke to His disciples when they returned from evangelism. He said, "Do not rejoice because the demons have subjected themselves to you but rejoice because your names have been written in the book of life" In a similar way, I am enjoining you not to rejoice because you have children, do not rejoice of certain privilege, but rejoice because you have seen God face to face, and He has written His name on your forehead.
5.8 THE NAME GIVES REDEMPTION
If you look at your face in a mirror, you will not see this name. If you approach a visioner to tell you what is written on your forehead, he will not see it. This name however, is an everlasting redemption for all sons of God. In the book of Revelation, we have been told of the sealing of the one hundred and forty four thousand elects of God by the angels. These people have got the name of their Father written on their foreheads and there shall be no evil that can befall them. Since the foundation of the world, this is the first time that the demons have been puzzled with calculations. This is because, the whole world do not know the source of the power in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. People ask, "what is this Brotherhood all about." They ask you to tell them the truth of the secret Power in Brotherhood and your answer is always, 'I do not know.' Hardly do they believe you. Hence, they continue investigating and even checking your movements, all to no avail. Let it be known that it is this Name on your forehead that is worrying them. Even death flees at seeing that name on your forehead. There is no other name in the world today than this wonderful name. Today, if you write the name 'Brotherhood' on your door post, your co-tenants will not be happy to see it.
5.9 ALL FORMER NAMES OF GOD HAVE PASSED AWAY
It is written that, the name of His God, the name of the city and his new name will be written on your forehead. That is why, if you call Him Jehovah Jah, He will not answer, because this is not His new Name. It is also written that he who conquers, will be made a pillar in the temple and never shall he go out of it. What will you conquer in order to be made a pillar? You must conquer fear, gossiping, slandering, and temptations, among other things. Yes anyone that conquers these things will receive the insignia of the new Jerusalem on him. The very name that is inscribed on His garment is what He writes on your forehead when you conquer. What do you think when God writes on your forehead the exact Name that He is known by? What a wonderful privilege. Now, tell all those who are fighting to be called Jesus or Christ, the angry people, men of strife and bitterness, that the former things have passed away and now all things have been made new. Today, many people are even surprised to hear the name Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. They said that they have heard of so many names of Churches, but not Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. And of a truth, such name has never been in existence. It is one of the new things now on earth. Today, people nurse an animosity against this name, Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. If you visit people and say that you are from the Duke Town Church, or Church of Christ or any other church, you will be welcomed. But if you say that you are from Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, you will be given cold shoulder and asked to go away from their midst. Even juju priests will be welcomed for they say that they are saving lives. Members of various secret societies are encouraged but not those of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. This they say is too bad to belong to. They term it a society of Beelzebub. Today, no one in Brotherhood says he is going to a Church but to a Bethel. Members talk about building new Bethels and this language is only understood by them. Yes, if God does not teach you, you can never understand, no matter how old you are in this world.
5.10 YOU ARE THE CITY OF GOD
The new city written about in the Bible symbolizes, the children of God, The New Jerusalem written about also refers to them. And His name mentioned therein is the word of God. In Rev. 3:12, it is said, never shall he go out of it. Mention any Church in the whole world where its members sleep in it always. The case is different in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. This is the house of our God where all those who come in will not go out of it. Read the golden text for confirmation.

First lesson: Revelation 19:12
His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on his head are many diadems; and he has a name inscribed which no one knows but himself.
Brethren, at your spare time, read this lesson again, and pray to God fervently if He will reveal this secret name to you. However, let me intimate that, it is of no benefit for one to fast and pray, asking God to reveal this name to him. Instead of one searching for this name, let him try to love one another, practise the words of God, and remain faithful. The first heaven and the first earth had passed away. The one in which you are living now is quite a new one. It is a sheer mistake for someone to claim that his/her name is Paul, Mary and so on. Many of you are singing, "look on my forehead you will see the name of God written." Do you know that name? The book of revelation reveals that, the new name of God will be written on the elects foreheads. That is why many people in the world can easily identify the elects of God because, the new name has been written on their foreheads. How many people know the name that is written on their foreheads? How many people can tell the meaning of that name? You members of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, do you believe at all that a name has been written on your foreheads? If so, then what is the name? The world has not come to know this. Therefore, brethren, you can see that the wisdom of this world does not carry any weight at all. As such, it is wise that you deviate from such course of foolishness.
5.5 THE RULERSHIP OF GOD AND HIS CHRIST HAS BEGUN
This is the time that Jehovah God and His Christ have come to rule. Concerning the day of judgment, neither the Son nor angels in heaven know it but God alone. That is why He who made Heaven and earth has come down to this earth according to His divine will. And today, there are evidences of His operation world wide. Jehovah God and the Lamb of God are now on earth, though He has not come with the old name. You all know why He was called the Lamb. But now He has come with a new name. There was also a reason why he was called Saviour, Redeemer, and Messiah. Brethren, all those names completed their assignment and have been set aside in fulfillment of the scripture that the former things have passed away and now all things have been made new. Flesh and blood cannot inherit this kingdom. Let the whole world continue to look into the sky, into the depths of the sea and countries. They will not know this secret name. There are even some Brotherhood of the Cross and Star members who still doubt the inscription of this new name on their foreheads. But the question is, if you say that nothing is written on your forehead, why is it that when people look at your forehead they immediately see the symbol of light?. Why then do people become terrified at seeing you and conclude that there is something else in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star? Of course, there is something in Brotherhood of Cross and Star, though you say that there is nothing. If I may ask, when God did not write His name on your forehead, were you not as good as hand towel to the worldly people? But from the day God inscribed His Name on your forehead, you became signs and wonders to the whole world.
5.6 GOD'S NEW NAME ON YOUR FORE HEAD
Do you sometimes think why people should be afraid of you? It is not because of any juju, song, prayer or any other power, but because God's name has been written on your forehead by the one who is now ruling. He alone knows the meaning of this name. When this new name was written on your forehead, did you see the writer? There is nothing else that does all the mighty works here in Brotherhood than this name. When all the creatures of God including the angels see this new name of God on your forehead, they fall on their faces and worship God. It does not matter where you live or where you may run to, you will always be recognised as a member of Brotherhoodof the Cross and Star. That name on your forehead is glittering and when people see it, they are magnetized by the light that radiates from it. God has come down and He is doing His works by Himself, There is only one God. And as soon as He has written this name on your forehead, you and God are one. There is no more division. No male, female, no child or adult, everyone is alike in this new Kingdom. Many people in the world today take it as a sole responsibility to go about publicising that they have seen Jesus or Christ. He died and conquered death, conquered the grave and Hades and He has been enthroned and given a new Name which nobody knows except He Himself. Please, tell those who are now scrambling to be known by name of Jesus Christ, Apostle, Prophets and so on, that all these have passed away, and that the one that has come to rule has come with a new Name inscribed on His garment which nobody knows except He alone.
