Healing For The Brokenhearted

Healing For The Brokenhearted Healing For The Brokenhearted administers the soothing and restorative love of GOD to people hurting across the world.

There are hundreds of millions of people, if not billions, who have not healed from the emotional wounds and many heartbreaks that life has dealt (and will inevitably dispense to) every human being. As societies are a reflection of the people who populate them, we find that many communities and nations are experiencing decadence. At Healing For The Brokenhearted, we point everyone to Jesus Christ

who is the Great Physician and truly the Ultimate Healer of the Brokenhearted. We administer His love to them through our conferences, concerts, books, musical albums, multimedia content, consultancies for corporations, and counselling for people whose hearts may be broken yet open enough to give us the chance to minister to them. As we convey the grace of Jesus Christ to individuals, families, communities and nations, we are seeing them being supernaturally healed of emotional and physical pain and they are being empowered to become the best version of themselves.

Years ago, anthropologist Margaret Mead was asked by a student what she considered to be the first sign of civilization in a culture.

The student expected Mead to talk about fishhooks or clay pots or grinding stones.

But no.

Mead said that the first sign of civilization in an ancient culture was a femur (thighbone) that had been broken and then healed. Mead explained that in the animal kingdom, if you break your leg, you die.

You cannot run from danger, get to the river for a drink or hunt for food. You are meat for prowling beasts. No animal survives a broken leg long enough for the bone to heal.

A broken femur that has healed is evidence that someone has taken time to stay with the one who fell, has bound up the wound, has carried the person to safety and has tended the person through recovery.

Helping someone else through difficulty is where civilization starts, Mead said."
We are at our best when we serve others.

Be civilized.

The glee with which we’re sometimes quick to screenshot people’s private conversations with us and then broadcast them online can actually push people deeper into the waiting arms of Depression and over the edge into Su***de.

Think about this deeply.

While there are indeed scumbags and idiots across both the male and female gender whose actions make them undeserving of grace and kindness, we have to know that many people are looking for love in the wrong places and we can be a little more graceful in our attempts to drive away their foolishness. Even those who administer capital punishment bear in mind to make executions swift and without great pain so the person being killed doesn’t suffer too much before or while dying, no matter what crime they have been found guilty of.

Sometimes that person begging for you to chat with them or who only waves and engages in small talk isn’t necessarily doing it to get in your pants or as a prelude to begging you for money. Sometimes even when they are, beneath all that is a soul crying out for help albeit in unpalatable and unpleasant language or manners.

There was once a notorious lunatic who walked around naked, lived in graveyards and was violent on many occasions, not just to people who were trying to help him but also to himself. He was what we call a “cutter” as he would inflict deep incisions on his own body with stones and sharp objects and those wounds sometimes festered into smelly sores. When chains and fetters were put on him to restrain him from from self harm or harming others, he would often be able to snap them off and continue to roam free in his demented state.

One day that same lunatic encountered a man who had just come off a boat that nearly capsized in a storm. Instead of doing all the violent acts he was previously notorious for, he ran to the man, dropped to his knees at his feet and whispered into his ears, “I need help. Please help me.”

The man this lunatic met is the same man who on some occasions had called deserving blunderers names such as “whited sepulchres”, “foxes”, and dressed them down in other unsavoury names. In fact, not only had he driven people out of a public place with a whip and upturned their tables in his gross displeasure, he had alleged that his close friend and confidant was often a hotel room for the devil himself! “Bad mouth” - as we often describe it - seemed to run in his family as a famous cousin of his who later lost his head figuratively and literally also called some people a “generation of vipers”!

Yet there was something about this man that drove the lunatic to genuinely and unashamedly seek succour from him. There was also something that this man saw in the lunatic that made him not either flee or dehumanize him even though there were thousands of demons living inside of him. The kindness this man showed to the mad man was key to restoring his sanity and in a little while from then, the man was fully clothed and in his right mind.

Think about this deeply the next time you encounter aberrant behavior either online or in person offline. It will require the grace of GOD that you probably are already a recipient of. Will the person be deserving of your graciousness? Probably not... but I remember reading a book and seeing these words:
“Blessed are the merciful for they shall be shown mercy.”

As the song goes:
“You got to try a little kindness
Yes show a little kindness
Just shine your light for everyone to see
And if you try a little kindness
Then you'll overlook the blindness
Of narrow-minded people on the narrow-minded streets.”

So help us GOD.

Sometimes it helps to know that even the patriarchs of Faith once walked through the valley of the shadow of Death, endured the taunts of Depression and made it through.

There is so much to say but all that is said will help little.

May “It Is Well With My Soul” not just be a hymn sang at funerals. May those very words reflect the true state of our affairs no matter the howling of Life’s raging tempest and the haunting threats of Hell’s hordes.

May it truly be well with our souls!!!

AMEN.

"WE MUST NOT GET TIRED OF DOING GOOD. We will receive our harvest of eternal life at the right time. We must not give up.

WHEN WE HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO DO GOOD TO ANYONE, WE SHOULD DO IT. But we should give special attention to those who are in the family of believers."

Galatians 6: 9 -10 ERV

In the course of our work at , we are learning the great power that a good deed done with the right motive, no matter how small, has on the lives of people. Thanks to your loving contributions in many ways and at many times, we were able to administer GOD's love in tangible ways to our brothers undergoing rehabilitation from drug addictions. The way their faces lit up as they received this particular unexpected supply affirms our belief that each of them that has received Jesus Christ are also the light of the world but that light must be fuelled, stoked and kept ablaze by our fellowship and love.

We would especially like to publicly thank those who helped make this possible 🙆 but we are constrained from doing so at this time. Nonetheless, we serve you notice by this means that "mercy to the needy is a loan to God, and God pays back those loans in full." (Proverbs 19:17 MSG)

We are also grateful to those who are working on our behalf to secure partnerships and CSR donations from FMCG businesses and other organizations so that we can continue being a visible extension of GOD's Kingdom and His love to all mankind.

We love you and we are praying for you. GOD bless you!!!

While festive seasons like Christmas and the start of a new year should ordinarily cause people to be in cheerful spirits, we have seen that many more people are heartbroken and depressed during these seasons that joy ought to be everyone's lot.

Many people are unable to be in a celebratory mood at this time and for various reasons. Some can't due to bereavement of their lovers, friends or family. Some can't due to the painful end of a relationship that they had high hopes for. Some can't because they had goals they set out to achieve at the beginning of the year and with those goals unrealized at the end of the year, they feel like failures. Some can't because due to the commercialization of holidays such as Christmas, (with great emphasis placed on shopping for oneself and others) not having money to buy things can make some people feel worthless. Some can't celebrate because they are alone and have no one to experience or share love with. For many people, 2017 has been hell and they can't wait for it to end.

Whatever their reasons may be, here at Healing For The Brokenhearted, we understand their pain, are sympathetic to their plight and are sending them our love and best wishes. We particularly pray for the families of those who died in terrorist attacks in Manchester and London (England), in Nigeria, in Iraq, Syria, the United States and other countries. We pray for those affected by adverse weather conditions including the flurry of hurricanes that pummeled cities and countries. We pray for everyone who has suffered injustice, been disappointed, hurt, and heartbroken across the world. We are here to serve you with the love of GOD and we pray 2018 will truly be for you a Happy New Year in every way possible.

Please feel free to contact us directly via the messaging feature on this platform if you'd like us to speak with you about issues of life. We love you and we won't stop praying for you.

GOD bless you.

For thousands of years, humanity had suffered emotional anguish and other consequences of Man's separation from GOD caused by Sin. GOD in His inexhaustible love for us, granted some prophets sneak peeks into the future through which it was revealed that He had prepared a redemptive package to heal the brokenhearted and reconcile us to Himself. In the fullness of time, that package arrived on earth as a baby born to a young lady who had gotten pregnant without having had sexual in*******se with a man! That baby was named Jesus and today, we celebrate not just His miraculous birth thousands of years ago, we also celebrate the efficacy of His solutions to our past, present and future heartbreaks.

Christmas means several things to several people but to us at Healing For The Brokenhearted, its chief import is that it heralds an often understated cure from GOD for all of mankind's problems, especially for the heartbroken.

Wherever you're reading this from, we wish you a truly Merry Christmas and a practical understanding of the love of GOD made manifest through Jesus Christ.

We love you dearly.
