Hebrews 12 vs 23 - 29.
If you had to describe your general emotional state with one of the five elements, which one would you be? Would you be cool and calm, like water? Vibrant, and growing like wood? Strong and cold like earth? Fast and powerful like wind? Or passionate and fierce like fire? In my case, I think I would be like wood; sensitive, wanting to be close to others, but susceptible to outside influences. Now ask yourself this: with which element would you describe God?

In these verses, Paul shows God's dominion over nature by stating that His voice shakes the earth and heaven, and describing Him as a consuming fire. All earthly creations will be consumed by the power of God. We have seen nations come and go, but they are man-made creations, at the mercy of God's power. As Christians, we have been given a chance at eternal life; the Apostles themselves explained that Christ has taught that believers have a chance to join him in the Heavenly Kingdom, a kingdom that cannot be moved (Hebrews 12:28). All the elements are under God's command. All nations and kingdoms will eventually crumble until only one remains: the all-encompassing heavenly fire that is God.

We Christians have accepted Christ as our personal Lord and Savior, we have surrendered our lives to the will of God. Material possessions mean nothing to us because we know our real treasure is in heaven. Just as we have spared nothing in our sacrifice to God, we must hold nothing back when it comes to providing for others. We will not keep provisions aside for ourselves, we will share our bounty to those in need.

Acts 3 vs 12-24
One thing that is important to me is keeping my promises. If I say the words 'I promise', it means that I really aim to keep it. These are not words that I wantonly throw around; if I say it, I mean it. When I read the books of the Old Testament, I am transported in history, thousands of years in the past, and I think about how life was like back then. I also think about the prophecies of the many important prophets: Isaiah, Ezra, Esther, Jeremiah, Hosea, Amos, Daniel, Elijah, Moses...these men changed history in ways that they seemingly could never have imagined. However, when I think about how and why they changed their world and ours, it seems that they did not have to imagine anything at all. They made a promise and a prophecy that eventually came true.
The apostles have witnessed the life of Christ more closely than anyone. They know more about Jesus and presumably have more faith in his teachings than anyone. When I consider their strong faith, it seems like inevitability given their front row seat to Christ's life. However, what about the people that do not believe in Jesus? The other people that witnessed him first hand? The priests and learned scholars that new of the prophecies of the Old Testament, saw or heard about the life of Christ, and still did not choose to believe? What about them? And these questions beg the final question: what about us?

No one becomes more incensed than a narcissist who's accused of something they absolutely committed.

Acts 13 vs 38-39. Our salvation is indeed as straightforward as this: Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior. We are called to simply believe that He came to earth as a man, died on the cross for our sins, and resurrected on the third day. There are no additional requirements to receive salvation – God has made it this simple for us. This is the message we are to share with the world, so that they can partake of this great love and inheritance too.

John 3 vs 16. God demonstrated profound love for humanity by willingly sacrificing His son for our salvation, despite our sinful nature. Jesus Christ endured immense suffering to redeem us from sin, considering every individual across all time. This selfless act enables us to be identified as children of God and bestowed upon us eternal life.

If you keep one hand on your past and one hand on your future you'll never have either. To embrace tomorrow, you must let go of yesterday.

We often believe that pivotal moments define us, but it is the small, quiet decisions that shape who we become. Every step, every breath, every "I'll try again tomorrow" plants a seed that grows. Do not underestimate your agency. You are one choice away from rewriting your entire narrative.

We often assume that pivotal moments define us, but it's the small, quiet decisions that shape our identities. Every step, every breath, every 'I'll try again tomorrow' cultivates a seed that flourishes. Do not underestimate your agency. You are one choice away from recalibrating your entire narrative.

Every decision you make today has a profound impact. Although it may seem insignificant at present, in the years to come, you will reflect on this moment and realize it was a turning point. The decision to persevere when quitting seems easier. The decision to maintain faith despite overwhelming doubt. The decision to remain committed even when no one is observing. These pivotal moments collectively shape the life you aspire to build.
