Beloved, welcome to children week. Our Bible study this week will be in line with the children week. Be blessed as you study and apply the study to the life of your children as well.

*BIBLE STUDY*
DATE: 26th May, 2020
TEXT: I Samuel 17:45-46
TOPIC: *I AM GOD'S CHAMPION*

INTRODUCTION
The world we are in is a world of battle and full of challenges. Every one is born to face challenges. It is that individual that overcomes challenges that is called a champion. Our case study; David became a champion when out of the crowd he came out to face Goliath and by the help of God he overcame. As we celebrate the children week, we must be determined like David to overcome our challenges.

I. The Challenge of a Champion (I Sam 17:33, 42-44)
David's challenge was Goliath. What is the challenge in your life? Sickness, poverty, failure, loneliness, hardship, barrenness, parental curse, stagnancy, sinful habit, depression or guilty conscience? God allows these challenges to make us champions if we confront them with prayer and action of faith.

II. The Courage of a Champion (I Samuel 17:34-37; 45-47)
David was courageous. A small boy facing a giant. He trusted God who has been his help from cradle helping him to kill a lion and a bear. He applied Joshua 1:9 and was resolute in his determination to face Goliath. Let's teach our children too to confront their difficult subjects in school and be determined to master them. We should also teach them to pray and apply their faith in facing life challenges. As adults we must identify our challenges and do the following:
i. Confront your challenge by consistent prayer - James 5:13.
ii. Confess your sins- James 5:14-15.
iii. Call for Pastor and leaders to pray for you
iv. Don't depend on the arm of flesh. David did not depend upon physical weapons.
v. Trust God for victory .

III. The Conquest of a Champion (I Sam 17:48-51)
David conquered Goliath. You too will conquer your Goliath. You will overcome your challenges like Jabesh, Joseph,

The future is Bright!

KEEP LEARNING, KEEP GROWING

Sometimes ago Aliko Dangote, Femi Otedola, Jimoh Ibrahim, Mike Adenuga... were looking at Abiola, Nwanyawu, Igbinedion, Dantata as YOU are doing now.

Sometimes ago Messi, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho were looking at Maradonna, Roberto Baggio, Romario, Jeep Stam, Luther Mathaius as YOU are doing now.

Sometimes ago Bill Gate, Warren Buffett, Carlos Helu... were looking at Rosthschild, Rockefeller, Henry Ford as YOU are doing now.

Sometimes ago GEJ, Late President Yaradua were looking at Tafawa Balewa, Muritala M, IBB as YOU are doing now

Sometimes ago Adeboye, Oyedepo, Areogun, Kumuyi... were looking at Ayo Babalola, Obadare, Idahosa, Kc Price... as YOU are doing now.

Sometimes ago, Emeifile, Sanusi Lamido, Soludo were looking at Clement Isong, Vincent, O.Ahmed, M.Borno as YOU are doing now.

The only thing that speaks in the lives of these people and the only difference among them is TIME called TOMORROW. Your tomorrow is only in the hands of God. Get ready to fill the vacuum of the Legend you are looking at as you read this message. Grace of God will eventually take you there.

Don't stop when the road is closed. Continue even if it will take you to create another. We will all get there by special grace of God.

Every king was once a crying baby, every Principal was once a Pupil and every building was once a picture. The person you admire so much was once a nobody. The person you attended his or her wedding was once a chief bachelor or spinster. So why worry in life?

It's not about where you are today but where you will reach tomorrow. Alphabet *"O''* which stands for Opportunity, is absent in *''yesterday''* but once in *''tOday'*' And three times in *"tOmOrrOw''* So Stay Positive Always and have hope. Your tomorrow will surely be better than today. Believe in yourself and never give up.

Mothers make the home beautiful
Mothers are the rallying point for the family
Mothers are the pivot for the family
Whenever children are coming home from wherever, it is the shout of m-u-u-m-m-y as they enter the home
When daddies return home from daily hustlings, it is usually franctic search for sweetheart/honey.
Absence of mothers from the home front takes the sweetness away from the family.
May the Lord keep you for us
We daddies love you.
And celebrate your roles, beautiful things you do in our homes and lives.
Happy Mother's Day 🎉.

SUSTAINABLE CHARACTERS AT LOCKDOWN PERIOD.

🖋️ Never take advantage of the lockdown to always ask for alms, do not suddenly turn to beggar, remember that the lockdown will soon be over but the impression lives on.

🖋️ Do not feel too big or ashamed to ask for alms or assistance if you truly need help, problem shared is half solved, so speak out and do not suffer in silence.

🖋️ Do not look down on anyone that asks you for an alms, be your brother's keeper. Let us live for each other.

🖋️ Never feel bad if a particular person turn you down for help, you never can tell what he or she is passing through too, remember not to judge a person by his/her appearance, don't judge a book by its cover.

🖋️ Learn to manage what you have now, and teach your children and loved ones living with you to do so. It is not compulsory to take three square meals, you wouldn't die if you don't, be disciplined.

🖋️ If you are in a position to help a fellow, do not wait until he/she asks. Do it with joy as unto the Lord Jesus Christ.

🖋️ Start thinking of what you can beging to do from home that can fetch you legitimate money; poultry, business etc. Remember that it may take awhile even after the lockdown to get back to normal financial stand.

🖋️ It is not a time to begin to apportion blame to government or fellow human being. Do not nag, control your anger and emotions and runaway from crimes. Let us take responsibility together for a better future.

🖋️ Work on your state of mind; be positive, keep hope alive; remember that this too will soon pass away.

🖋️ Exercise your body, do it in your room or compund. Keep fit, remember that you still have a beautiful life to live after the lockdown.

🖋️ Never allow the lockdown to take away your happiness, happiness is a choice.

🖋️ Stay safe with your family.
