Topic: The HOLY SPIRIT
The Holy Spirit is the Revealer of the presence and power of God. He is the Wisdom of God. We need to know God personally. The Holy Spirit is the Anchor and Author of the Bible (2 Peter 1:21). That is why we always ask for His permission and guidance before reading the Word.
Prayer:
Holy Spirit, fill us with Your presence. Reveal to us more dimensions of Your Spirit. Amen.

We discussed on ;
What does the term ‘Relationship’ mean to you?
Many of us immediately think of Boyfriend? Girlfriend? Or Dating?

Before we talk about boyfriend, girlfriend, or dating, we must first understand what relationship truly means from God’s perspective.

But from a Christian view, relationship is deeper than feelings and emotions.
True relationship starts with knowing God personally.
It is built on respect between males and females, closeness with clear boundaries, and wisdom in friendship.
The Bible tells us:
“Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.” (Proverbs 4:23)
Key points:

Respect between guys and girls
Set godly boundaries in closeness
Be a genuine friend first
Boyfriend, girlfriend, or dating should only come after your relationship with God is strong

Final Word: Build your relationship with God first through the Holy Spirit. When that foundation is solid, every other relationship will be healthier and more purposeful.

17th May 2026
Topic : Walking With God in Strength and Righteousness
Minister:Deacon Precious Okogun
Texts:Romans 8:28, Psalm 46:1–2, Deuteronomy 8:16–18, Deuteronomy 6:5–7, Isaiah 41:10–12

Good morning Church.
We thank God for His grace, mercy, protection, and strength upon our lives. Today, we are reminded that God is our refuge and strength, a present help in times of trouble. No matter what we face in life, God remains faithful to His children.

God gives strength to those who need strength.
When we feel weak, discouraged, confused, or tired, God supplies grace and divine help. He is the God of comfort, strength, and divine direction.

As believers, we must learn to walk with God daily.
Walking with God means trusting Him completely, obeying His Word, and allowing the Holy Spirit to lead our lives.

Romans 8:28 says that all things work together for good to them that love God and are called according to His purpose. Even when situations seem difficult, God is still working for our good.

A child of God is someone who walks not after the things of the flesh, but after the Spirit.
The flesh leads people into sin, worldly desires, and disobedience, but the Spirit leads us into holiness, righteousness, obedience, and fellowship with God.

Another important question is: What is the purpose of God?
The purpose of God is to demonstrate the righteousness of God.

This means that a Christian who walks in the purpose of God is a Christian who demonstrates righteousness through his life. His lifestyle reflects Christ. His words, actions, character, and decisions show the nature of God.

When a man lives righteously, obeys God, loves truth, and walks in holiness, that man is fulfilling the purpose of God in his life.

So today, God is asking us:
Can you say no to unrighteousness?
Can you stand for holiness in a corrupt world?
Can your life truly represent Christ?

Isaiah 41 reminds us not to fear because God is with us. He will strengthen us, help us, and uphold us with His righteous right hand.

Church, let us continue to walk in the Spirit and not after the flesh.
Let us live lives that demonstrate the righteousness of God daily.
May our character, conduct, and lifestyle reveal Christ to the world around us.

As we remain faithful to God, He will continue to strengthen us, guide us, and establish us in His purpose.

May God help us to fulfill His purpose through righteous living.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
