As i sat down to watch the Olympics 100m final race yesterday, I saw all the athletes take their position.

'Get set', and all the athletes were ready to run.

But before the shot, one of the athletes took off.

He got disqualified!
What? No warning? Yes, no warning.

He lost the opportunity to compete for the finals right there. After all the stress of preparation.☹️ Such a costly mistake.😢

There are opportunities we miss out on because of a little mistake and that's it. Imagine the sleepless nights, the stress and then the opportunity comes and gently slips out of your hands because of a simple mistake.

Oh! The tears that will flow😭, followed by the headache🤯 and then the mood swing.😔

While preparing, it is important you are conscious and sensitive enough to know when the opportunity comes.

Nothing is more expensive than a missed opportunity.

MIRACLES FROM LAST NIGHT

She's a 21 year old lady, who was born with two navels.

Throughout her life, she has had pains on one of the navels. With faith, she came to the Calabar Global Crusade yesterday.

During the prayer, she joined, praying earnestly while in pains, expecting the pains to come to an end.

After the prayers, everyone with a challenge was asked to check up.

She checked up and noticed that not only had the pains stopped, but also one of the navels had disappeared.

There are many more testimonies to come.

TAKE HIS PRESENCE WITH YOU.

"And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and i will give thee rest." Exodus 33:14

How far do you think you can go without His presence?

As far as your strength can carry you, I guess. You sure can't go further than that.

His presence makes the difference, 'cause in His presence, there is fullness of joy.

"And he said unto him, if they presence go not with me, carry us not up hence." Exodus 33:15

MOVEMENT DOESN'T EQUATE PROGRESS

Just because you're doing a lot doesn't mean you're getting a lot more done.

Don't confuse movement for progress or busyness for productivity.

Evaluate yourself.

List your activities according to their priority.
Your activities should align with your goals.

Remember, movement doesn't equate progress.

CONSISTENCY 🏃🎀🏅🏆

As I sat down in the congregation watching the Sunday service yesterday, I began to ponder on the Power of Consistency.🤔

The PFN president with his executives had come from far and near to honor Pastor W.F Kumuyi on his birthday which was weeks past. (You donminit!)😳

He (The PFN President), gave a testimony on how through the Pastor's preaching, he started his ministry. This was far back in 1976.

Fast forward to 45 years later.

This man is still standing!
How can someone be so consistently consistent? (In Pastor Oke's words)
With so many backlashes from people enough for someone to throw in the towel.

But he continued.

Here's the truth.

Consistency ain't easy.😩
There are times you'll feel like giving up, no motivation to continue.
Backlashes from friends, family and the world.
No results from all your efforts.
You wake up one morning and you have this feeling of not continuing.

Please continue, at that point when you feel like giving up, please continue.
It's not easy. No, not at all. No journey is.
When you wake up and not feel like continuing your journey, please go back to sleep.
The universe has a way of rewarding the consistent.

The people who came for you at some point of the journey will eventually come to learn from you.
By all means, please continue.

LIVE WITH THE SENSE OF URGENCY.

"I must work while it is day, for the night comes when no man can work."- Jesus Christ.

While the day is meant for us to walk and work, indulge ourselves in acts that are impactful and income earning, the night is meant for rest. At this point, it is expected we are done with the work for the day.

Man is only entitled to a few years here on this side of eternity. This is our day and so because we do not know when it will be dusk for us, we must work as if it's our last hour.

Work vibrantly.
Work profitably.
Work effectively.
Work selflessly.
Work with the mind of creating impact and blessing lives.

While you still have the strength now, work!
