In my very early years in ministry , still early by the way, whenever I had cause to give a testimony or when asked about a miracle or supernatural happening, I would omit the fact that I prayed or led a prayerful lifestyle.
To me, it was some kind of 'humility' or some sort and in a way not to exaggerate the result of a prayer life.
Little did I know then, that while I had good intentions, they were not necessarily true and honest.
A life with signs following are the proceeds of a praying person.
The Lord Jesus, God in the flesh was a praying machine despite his heavy and tight 'ministry schedule'. What were the results that followed?
"He healed them all!"
Not twice, not thrice, same testimony .
If any man (believer) will give himself to prayers, the results will follow. And this makes me to wonder the ridiculous extent some have gone to 'arrange ' miracles.
They want the results but not the work.
Prayer is work, many times not convenient!
If you're someone who prays a lot for people, you'll agree with me that there's always a lot to pray about. So how could you 'run out ' of prayer points?
It's a sacrosanct activity for the believer with various instructions to continue in the place of prayer;
1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing.
Ephesians 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
Luke 18:1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
So much to be achieved when we pray!
When it seems like we're losing strength? Interestingly, the answer is still to pray for strength.
Pray, pray, pray!
