The Experiential Knowledge of the Holy Spirit
There is something called "the communion of the Holy Spirit" that every believer should know experientially and be addicted to. Apostle Paul introduced the believers to the communion of the Holy Spirit through the prayer he prayed for the brethren in Corinth.
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen. 2 Cor. 13:14.
Have you been having communion with the Holy Spirit? Have you been honouring the Holy Spirit and expressing your love for Him?
Communion is what it takes to have an experiential relationship with the Holy Spirit. If you are going to have a meaningful and fulfilling relationship with the Holy Spirit, you are going to learn how to commune with Him.
*There is no such thing as a miracle when it comes to the friendship with the Holy Spirit. It has to be cultivated intentionally.* It's through communion that you get to know the personality of the Holy Spirit who reveals, testifies, and glorifies Jesus Christ.
Since friendship with Him has to be cultivated, therefore, it means it will cost you something. It will cost you something to know the Holy Spirit and walk with Him. The good news is that when you start knowing His friendship, you will find out that it is worth every sacrifice you will make.
Communion requires time, discipline, and trust.
Time: Everything about communion of the Holy Spirit depends on time. You have to be intentional about spending time to commune with the Holy Spirit. Spending time with the Holy Spirit is proof of your love for Him and a desire to know Him and walk with Him.
The time you are willing to give Him in communion is what He uses to make Himself real to you and reveal Christ in you.
There is so much the Holy Spirit wants to do with and for you, but He wants you to come into an intimate friendship with Him through communion.
Always remember that intimacy takes time, there cannot be any rush, so be patient and let the Holy Spirit take you on a journey of personal discovery of who He is.
A call to return to the communion of the Holy Spirit.
