**Jesus Is God: The Foundation of Celestial Church Of Christ Worship and Witness**
Hymn 377:8,Emphasises the son as the fathers equal.

Beloved in Christ, Jesus is not merely a priest, prophet, apostle, or religious leader—He is God incarnate, the eternal Lord from heaven (John 1:1-14; 1 Corinthians 15:47). This profound truth demands our worship, not just on earth but in the celestial realms, where angels and saints bow before Him (Revelation 5:11-14). Our timeless hymns echo this reality, calling us to adore Him as fully divine.

Consider these powerful declarations from our hymnody:

- **Hymn 377:8** – "Glory to the Father on high, and glory to His equal Son." Here, we affirm Jesus' co-equality and co-eternality with the Father—same in essence, majesty, and glory (Philippians 2:6).

It dulls our zeal, silences bold proclamation, and weakens our witness. Why do so many shy away from declaring Jesus as the *only* Way, Truth, and Life (John 14:6)? Because diluted views of His deity lead to compromised lives. When we grasp His full divinity, we cannot stay silent!

Let this truth ignite you today: Worship Jesus as God with unreserved passion. Preach Him unapologetically. Live as those transformed by the Lord from heaven. All glory to Jesus, our God and King!

IS THE BIBLE TRUE?
The bible is not a white man's book it is God breathed, yesterday we looked at How archaeology proofed the authenticity of the scriptures today WE are looking at the Dead Sea scroll.

Assurance of accuracy
What is so special about these scrolls, and how do they help us prove the Bible
is true? Until the discovery of the scrolls, the oldest manuscripts of the Hebrew
Scriptures dated from the 10th century, about 2,500 years after the time of Moses.
How can we be assured of the integrity of a document after so much time?
Considering the carefulness of the copyists is one way to be assured of the
accuracy of the preservation of the Bible.
We believe that the Jews were given the responsibility for preserving the
Hebrew Scriptures. The apostle Paul wrote: “What advantage then has
the Jew, or what is the profit of circumcision? Much in every way! Chiefly
because to them were committed the oracles of God” (Romans 3:1-2).
The Hebrew Scriptures that make up the Old Testament were preserved
by a group of Jewish scholars called Masoretes. Their manuscripts are
known today as the Masoretic Text. The Masoretes were meticulous in their
preservation, so when a copy became worn, a new copy was created. Once
its accuracy was confirmed, they would destroy the old one. Because of
that, the oldest of these manuscripts available today is the Aleppo Codex,
dating from A.D. 935.
The Masoretes became known as “counters,” since this was one of the methods
they used to make sure the copy was an exact duplicate. They counted the words
and the letters in each one to confirm the accuracy of the new one. This practice
continued for more than 400 years (from A.D. 600 to 1000).
But how can we prove that a copy from 935 faithfully represents the original
writings? The discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls provides important confirmation.
The Dead Sea Scrolls are generally dated from around 200 B.C. to A.D. 68.
This is more than 1,000 years older than any manuscripts of the Hebrew
Old Testament that we had before their discovery. Because of their age and
close similarity with the Masoretic Text, we now have an objective basis
for determining that the biblical text used in our modern copies of the Old
Testament is accurate.

The Bible's manuscript evidence stands out significantly compared to other ancient books. Here's a comparison:

*Quantity of Manuscripts*
- *New Testament (Greek)*: Over 5,800 manuscripts have been cataloged, with more than 20,000 manuscripts in other languages, including Latin.
- *Other Ancient Works*:
- *Caesar's Gallic Wars*: 251 manuscripts, with the earliest dating back to around 800 AD, roughly 844 years after it was written.
- *Homer's Iliad*: Approximately 1,900 manuscripts, with the earliest fragment dating to around 400 BC, about 300-400 years after its composition.
- *Herodotus' History*: Around 109 manuscripts, with the earliest fragment dating to around 150 BC, roughly 275 years after its composition.

*Age of Manuscripts*
- *New Testament*: The earliest fragment dates back to around 125 AD, just 25 years after the original text was written. Complete manuscripts exist from around 325 AD, approximately 225 years after the original text.
- *Other Ancient Works*:
- *Thucydides' History*: The earliest fragment dates to around 300 BC, roughly 0-100 years after its composition. Complete manuscripts exist from around 900 AD, about 1,300 years later.
- *Plato's Tetralogies*: The earliest fragment dates to around 300 BC, about 47 years after its composition. Complete manuscripts exist from around 895 AD, roughly 1,242 years later.

*Significance*
The abundance and age of New Testament manuscripts provide strong evidence for its textual reliability. While other ancient works have fewer manuscripts and larger time gaps between composition and earliest manuscripts, the New Testament's manuscript tradition is remarkably robust ¹.

THE BIBLE “SCRIPTURE “ IS NOT A WHITE MAN'S BOOK.

The problem of people who claim to be believers of our Lord jesus christ begins when they do not believe the authenticity of the scriptures, this is where whatever we claim to be as Christians springs from and if we claim to believe in the lord jesus christ then why reject the very manual that reveals him, this is why we have a wrong notion about his person and his doctrine.

2 Timothy 3:16 (KJV) All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

So therefore we are again saddled with the responsibility of converting the converted a gruesome task.

So therefore let us look at the authenticity of the scriptures for the next few days.

NO 1: ARCHAEOLOGICAL PROOF

An archaeologist’s conclusion
One of the greatest Jewish archaeologists of the 20th century was Nelson
Glueck (1900-1971), who even appeared on the cover of Time magazine
in 1963. He wrote the following about the authenticity of Scripture
when compared to archaeology: “It may be stated categorically that no
archaeological discovery has ever controverted a Biblical reference. Scores of
archaeological findings have been made which confirm in clear outline or in
exact detail historical statements in the Bible. And, by the same token, proper
evaluation of biblical descriptions has often led to amazing discoveries”
(Rivers in the Desert, 1960, p. 31).
The story of Hezekiah’s tunnel and second wall, the Assyrian siege of
Jerusalem and the death of King Sennacherib are only a few of the scores of
biblical accounts that have been confirmed by archaeology. While there are
archaeologists who reject the Bible as authentic, the record of archaeology,
taken as a whole, supports the biblical text.
More than 30 years ago, James Mann wrote the following in an article for
U.S. News and World Report: “A wave of archaeological discoveries is altering
old ideas about the roots of Christianity and Judaism—affirming that the
Bible is more historically accurate than many scholars thought” (“New Finds
Cast Fresh Light on the Bible,” Aug. 24, 1981).
