As-salamualaikum waramahtullaah wabarakatuh believing brothers and sisters.
It is upon us again, that glorious month where deeds are perceived and rewarded more handsomely than any other month. It is the month of *Ramadan*, when happiness and harmony is once again felt among the believers.
We intend to bring happiness to the hearts, gladness to the faces, and tahmid (praise of Allaah) to the mouth of *Two Hundred and Fifty (250)* fasting Muslims by putting food in their bellies in this coming Ramadan (In'shaa'Allaah).
The cost estimate is #1,000 per fasting Muslim, and total estimate is ( #1,000 x 250 👳🏾♂️ x 30 days) = * #7,500,000 (Seven Million, Five Hundred Thousand Naira Only)*
The Messenger of Allaah (ﷺ) said: _*“Whoever gives iftaar to one who is fasting will have a reward like his, without that detracting from the reward of the fasting person in the slightest.”*_
[Al-Tirmidhi, 807; Ibn Maajah, 1746. Graded Saheeh].
Allaah (ﷻ) said about the righteous servants (interpretation of the meaning);
*And they give food in spite of love for it to the needy, the orphan, and the captive, ▪️ [Saying], "We feed you only for the countenance of Allaah. We wish not from you reward or gratitude. ▪️ Indeed, We fear from our Lord a Day austere and distressful." ▪️ So Allaah will protect them from the evil of that Day and give them radiance and happiness*
[Al-Insân: 76:8-11]
