YOUR STORY FOR HIS GLORY
“This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God…” John 11:4

When Lazarus became sick, Mary and Martha expected Jesus to come quickly. Instead, He delayed. By the time He arrived, Lazarus had died and hope seemed lost.

Yet Jesus declared that the situation would ultimately reveal the glory of God.

Some chapters of our lives make little sense while we are living through them. We pray, wait and wonder why God has allowed certain things to happen.

But the story of Lazarus reminds us that God can reveal His glory even through circumstances we would never have chosen.

The tomb became the setting for a revelation of Christ’s power.

Your difficult season can also become part of your testimony. The disappointment you survived, the door that closed, the loss that forced you to depend upon God, or the season when you thought nothing could change may eventually reveal something of His faithfulness.

This does not mean every pain is easy to explain. Some questions remain difficult. But we can trust that suffering does not place us beyond God’s reach.

Do not allow your hardest chapter to convince you that your story has ended.

Jesus stood before a tomb and called life out of death.

The same God is still able to bring purpose from pain, strength from weakness and testimony from trial.

Let Him use every chapter, not only the pleasant ones, to reveal His glory through your life.

Questions
Is there a difficult chapter of your life that you struggle to understand?

How has God already shown His faithfulness through previous trials?

What would it mean to surrender your whole story to Him?

Prayer
Lord, use every part of my story for Your glory. Turn my trials into testimonies and let my life continually reveal Your faithfulness, goodness and power. Amen

FRUIT REVEALS THE TREE
“Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit…” — John 15:8

Jesus connected fruitfulness directly with the glory of God. Our lives reveal Him most clearly when they produce the kind of fruit that reflects His nature.

A tree does not struggle to impress anyone. It simply remains rooted, receives nourishment and produces fruit in season.

Jesus said the same principle applies spiritually. If we abide in Him, our lives begin to produce love, patience, kindness, faithfulness, self-control and good works.

Consider Barnabas. Scripture describes him as a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and faith. His life was marked by encouragement. He believed in people others had rejected, including Paul and later John Mark.

Barnabas revealed God’s glory not through spectacular miracles but through a character that strengthened other people.

Sometimes we measure spiritual success by visibility, titles or achievements. God often measures it by fruit.

Are people encouraged because you were present? Do your relationships become healthier because of your influence? Does your work reflect excellence? Are you becoming more patient, generous and gracious?

These are not small things. They are evidence that God’s life is being expressed through you.

Remain connected to Christ. Fruitfulness is not produced by human effort alone. It flows from relationship with Him.

When our lives bear good fruit, people taste something of God’s goodness through us.

Questions
What kind of fruit is your life presently producing?

Which aspect of your character needs greater growth?

How can you remain more closely connected to Christ?

Prayer
Lord, help me to abide in You and produce fruit that reflects Your nature. Let my character and actions bring glory to You and blessing to others. Amen.

HIS GLORY CAN SHINE IN YOUR WEAKNESS
“My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9

We often imagine that God is glorified only through our strengths. Yet Scripture repeatedly shows that He also reveals His power through human weakness.

Moses felt inadequate because of his speech. Gideon considered himself insignificant. Paul spoke openly about weakness. Yet God worked powerfully through each of them.

This should encourage us. You do not need to be perfect before God can use you. In fact, our weaknesses sometimes create the clearest opportunity for His strength to become visible.

Paul eventually understood that his limitations did not disqualify him. They taught him dependence. Instead of pretending to be self-sufficient, he learned to rely upon God’s grace.

We live in a world that celebrates strength, achievement and appearance. We are encouraged to hide our weaknesses and present ourselves as though we have everything under control.

But God’s glory is often revealed when people can see that what has sustained us is greater than our natural ability.

Perhaps you feel inadequate for something God has placed before you. Do not allow weakness to become an excuse for disobedience.

Bring your weakness to God. Let Him supply what you lack.

The vessel may be ordinary, but the treasure inside it belongs to God. When His strength carries us where our ability cannot, He receives the glory.

Questions
What weakness makes you feel inadequate?

Have you allowed that weakness to stop you from obeying God?

How can you depend more deliberately on God’s strength today?

Prayer
Lord, I surrender my weaknesses to You. Let Your strength be revealed through my limitations and use my life in ways that bring glory to Your name. Amen.
