Righteous Works

And the effect of righteousness will be peace [internal and external], and the result of righteousness will be quietness and confident trust forever. AMP Isaiah 32:17

Tell me, how do you spend the majority of your time? Do you believe you are making the most of each day? Many individuals might seem successful to the outside world, but lack fulfillment on a personal level. Remember this: living righteously and doing good deeds will provide a deep sense of inner peace and lasting assurance.
Can we reflect upon a quote that I really like? It goes like this, 'Success without fulfillment is the ultimate failure.' It reminds us that being wealthy, famous, or healthy isn't enough if we don't feel fulfilled in our daily lives. To achieve true success, we should strive to do righteous work that makes a positive impact in our lives and the lives of others. Our actions should be guided by a sense of fulfillment and inner peace. This way, we can lead a meaningful life and feel content with our thoughts and actions, which is the ultimate form of success.

How do we seek a more righteous and peaceful existence?

Romans 5:1-2 - Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

2 Timothy 1:7 - For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Philippians 4:7 - And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

To seek a more righteous and peaceful existence, we need to first become more self-aware. We should reflect on our actions and thoughts and try to identify areas where we can improve. We should strive to do good deeds that bring joy to others and make a positive impact on society. We should always treat others with kindness, respect, and empathy, we should always keep a positive attitude, be grateful for what we have, and spread positivity and love wherever we go.

"Simply put, when we, believers in Christ, live according to Jesus' teachings, loving and obeying his commands, we can have peace with God through Jesus. We don't need to live in fear because God has given us the power of love, peace, and safety. It's our own choices that determine whether they are righteous or not. Therefore, we should strive to live righteously to experience true peace. Doing so will bring us a sense of fulfillment and an assurance that we are on the right path."

Raising the bar for generational covenant
1Chro 17:1-14

As David sat in his house, he said to Nathan the prophet, Behold, I dwell in a house of cedars, but the ark of the covenant of the Lord remains under tent curtains. 1Chro17:1 AMP

And it shall come to pass that when your days are fulfilled to go to be with your fathers, I will raise up your offspring after you, one of your own sons, and I will establish his kingdom.
He shall build Me a house, and I will establish his throne forever.1Chro17:12AMP

I will be his father, and he shall be My son; and I will not take My mercy and steadfast love away from him, as I took it from him [King Saul] who was before you.1Chro17:13 AMP

But I will settle him (Him) in My house and in My kingdom forever; and his (His) throne shall be established forevermore.1Chro17:14 AMP

It is important to remember that as a person, your actions and choices have an impact that extends beyond your own life. When you live a life that is in alignment with your values and beliefs, you not only set yourself up for blessings from God, but you also lay the foundation for future generations to come. This is exemplified in the story of David and Solomon, where David's desire for God's presence led to a covenant being made, which was later fulfilled through Solomon's actions. This highlights the importance of setting a good standard and creating a system that will allow for generational blessings to be passed down.
It is up to us to set a high standard for ourselves and for future generations, and to strive to leave behind a legacy of blessings that will inspire and encourage for years to come. We recognize that it can be challenging to navigate this responsibility, but we encourage each other to set a high standard for ourselves and for future generations, and to strive to leave behind a legacy of blessings that will inspire and uplift.

The Choice to Please God

“Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.”
—2 Timothy 3:12
Every day we face three possible motivations about whom we’re going to please: We can seek to please ourselves; we can seek to please other people; or, we can seek to please God.

But we can’t do all three.

If you live to please yourself, you’ll live a miserable life. In fact, the best way to be unhappy is to spend your life in the pursuit of being happy. If you live primarily for yourself, wanting to please yourself, you never will be pleased.

But then if you live to please others, you may be even more miserable. If you’re a people pleaser, you’ll be really upset if you don’t get enough likes on your Instagram post or if get a little pushback on social media. You’re going to have a very difficult life if that’s the way you live.

The one you should want to please is God. But I have to tell you this. If you choose to please God, not everyone will be pleased. In fact, if you live a godly life and stand for truth, then you will face opposition.

The Bible says that “all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution” (2 Timothy 3:12 NKJV). So when you’re living a life that’s pleasing to the Lord, be aware that some people will be very unhappy about it

Yet Jesus made this amazing statement: “And He who sent Me is with Me. The Father has not left Me alone, for I always do those things that please Him” (John 8:29 NKJV). I would like to be able to say that I usually do the things that please the Father. But Jesus actually could say, “I always do those things that please Him” (emphasis added).

Let’s make it our aim to live lives that are well-pleasing to God.
As you go out seek to please God and to do His will, go into today knowing that at the end of the day we will all give account of our works before Him.

I pray for you today as you seek to please God, may God release into your life a strong desire to please Him in Jesus name, may He prosper the works of your hands causing you to increase in all ramification of your life, family, business and ministry in Jesus mighty name.
