LIARS AND TRUTH SPEAKERS
Psalm 63:1-5, 11
But the king will rejoice in God… while the mouths of liars will be silenced. Psalm
63:11, NIV
Some things we see or feel comes in two: such as word and opposite. There are
right and left, day and night, lie and truth, liars and truth speakers. It is obvious that
truth brings freedom while lie brings bo***ge. No matter how perfect a liar is, upon
discovery of sufficient truth, such a person will be silenced (v. 11). Truth speakers’
voices will be heard. They will be able to tell of God’s goodness and declare His
praise. They are always happy to be in God’s presence because their hearts are free
of deceit. The world may not value you as a truth speaker or teller, but God values
and loves you. Will you determine today to be truthful to God and your fellow human
beings? Remember, it pays to be faithful. God will help you so to do.
Birthday Blessing: With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation. Isaiah
12:3
