🌿 Topic: Keep Doing Good — Your Reward Is from God
Brethren, anything we do should be for God, not for men. Of course, it is expected that there will always be ungrateful people, just as it was in the days of Jesus Christ Himself. He healed ten lepers, but only one returned to give thanks (Luke 17:11–19).
We should never allow people’s attitudes to stop us from doing what God has called or led us to do. It is by His grace, not by human applause. We must not descend low or give up because of people with entitled or negative mindsets.
Sometimes, the same people who benefit from our sacrifices turn around to destroy, castigate, or deny us. Yet, such people rarely give or support anyone. But as the Bible says,
“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” — Galatians 6:9
Even when others fail to appreciate, remember that God never forgets
“For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name.” — Hebrews 6:10
So, let’s remain steadfast, knowing that our reward comes from above and not from man. No matter the ingratitude or betrayal, keep doing good. You are sowing into eternity.
🙏 Prayers:
* Father, grant me the grace to continue doing good even when it’s not convenient.
* Lord, help me to stay focused on You and not be discouraged by people’s actions.
* Father, give me understanding to discern people’s hearts and respond with love, patience, and wisdom.
* Lord, strengthen me to keep serving faithfully in Your vineyard without murmuring or bitterness.
* May Your blessings, peace, and favour increase upon me on every side, and may my labour of love speak for me in due season In Jesus’ name, Amen.
đź’« Be encouraged!
Whatever you do for God will never go unrewarded. Keep sowing in love, keep serving faithfully — your due season of harvest is near. 🌾
