Three Jesuit Novices Profess First Simple Vows
With grateful hearts, we congratulate Richard Adzayi, SJ, Fredrick Owusu, SJ, and Cornelius Amoah, SJ, who professed their First Simple Vows on 16 July 2026 at St. Brother André Chapel, Brafoyaw, Cape Coast, Ghana.
May the Lord strengthen them as they continue their journey as companions of Jesus, serving the Church and the world for the greater glory of God.

Called to Shepherd God’s People: Two Ghanaian Jesuits Ordained Priests

The Africa North West Province of the Society of Jesus celebrated a joyful milestone on Saturday, 11 July 2026, as Rev. Fr. Gabriel Owusu Adjei, SJ, and Rev. Fr. Bonosa Kwadwo Fosu, SJ, were ordained to the priesthood during a solemn Eucharistic celebration at Our Lady Seat of Wisdom Catholic Chaplaincy, University of Cape Coast.

The ordination Mass was presided over by Most Rev. Simon Kofi Appiah, Bishop of the Jasikan Diocese, and brought together Jesuits, clergy, religious, family members, friends, benefactors, collaborators, and faithful from across Ghana and beyond to witness the culmination of years of discernment, formation, and preparation for priestly ministry.
