WHEN YOU’RE GONE, WHAT WILL THEY SAY ABOUT YOU? 🕊️
At the wake keep, the tears flowed as family, friends, neighbours, and schoolmates from the 90s stood to speak about Pa Idowu Akinpelu Fagbemi.
They spoke of his kindness.
They spoke of his friendship.
They spoke of his generosity.
They spoke of the lives he touched.
And they spoke of his unwavering dedication to God’s work.
Listening to everyone, one question became impossible to ignore:
When you are gone, what will be said about you?
Will your absence be felt?
Will your kindness be remembered?
Will your service to God speak for you?
Will the lives you touched testify of your existence?
Will you be missed?
Death reminds us that we are only passing through. What remains is not the wealth we gathered, but the love we gave, the lives we impacted, the service we rendered, and the legacy we left behind.
Pa Fagbemi has left a story that continues to speak—even through tears.
