FORGIVENESS IS REQUIRED
Matt. 6 : 14 - 15.
This morning, we turn to Jesus' words in Matthew 6, where He emphasises a critical aspect of our faith: forgiveness. He states plainly that if we do not forgive suggestion; it's a requirement.
Holding onto bitterness and unforgiveness creates a spiritual blockage, hindering our relationship with God and our own peace.
Forgiveness is not about excusing the offense but releasing the burden from ourselves. It's an act of obedience and faith that unlocks divine grace in our lives.

POINT OF EMPHASIS : Our forgiveness of others is directly linked to God's forgiveness of us, making it a non-negotiable aspect of Christian living.

PRAYER POINT : Father, empower us to forgive those who have wronged us just as You have forgiven us.

Elders Must Be Blameless, Self-Controlled And Sound In Doctrine
Tit . 1 : 5 - 9.
Leadership in the Church is not a position for mere managers but a sacred trust for godly shepherds. Paul emphasises personal integrity over charisma or competence. A leader must be blameless, not only in the pulpit but in family, finances, and social conduct.
He must be faithful, self-controlled, hospitable, not quick-tempered or greedy, and firm in sound doctrine. The character of the leader sets the tone for the flock.

POINT OF EMPHASIS : Leaders must be blameless, yet both firm and tender in conflict resolution.

PRAYER POINT : Holy Spirit, anoint and equip our leaders to reflect Christ in life and doctrine.
