UGLY ON THE INSIDE

MATTHEW 23:27-28
Golden Verse
βWoe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs, which indeed appear beautiful outside, but inside they are full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.β V.27
Message
Many individuals fit the description of the Pharisees in the text. They look good on the outside, but on the inside: they have evil and immoral thoughts. This is one reason it is not advisable to judge a book by its cover.
Some ladies appear so beautiful after applying different layers of make-ups, but you have to get close to them to uncover the kind of miserable lives they are living. They are full of dirty characters, sleep with different men and practice different forms of abominations. They come to church pretending to be born-again and looking for a godly man. Unsuspecting brothers who get carried away by their fake beauties will pick them up and they become thorns to their flesh.
This is not to condemn anyone, but to call our consciousness to the fact that it is not all that glitters that is golden. Donβt model your life after views on social media and television because many of them are made up.
Prayer Point:
Gracious Father, open my eyes to a clear understanding of life that I may not end up living an ugly life, in Jesus name. Amen.
Food for Thought:
βDo you look at things according to appearance? If anyone has persuaded himself that he is Christ's, let him think this again as to himself, that as he is Christ's, even so we are Christ's.β 2 Corinthians 10:7
