*January 2026 Newsletter*

Dear Beloved Members of Christian Parenting International (CPI),

As we embark on a new year, we extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who stood steadfast in prayer for your children and families throughout 2025. Your sacrificial prayers have spoken volumes, and their impact will resonate in the lives of your children and household for generations to come.

In a world that is unprincipled...
In a characterized system of dog-eat-dog mentality...
In a time when the world does not fight fair, unguarded are often vulnerable to the whims of the system, there is one immutable truth: *Prayer* remains the ultimate defense that prevails.

As children mature at an unprecedented rate with unmatched wisdom, and families are shaped by external forces beyond their control, it is imperative that we, as parents, acknowledge a profound reality: *anything left to default will be molded by the system.* The unguarded will be consumed.

In response, we committed *49 hours and 49 days in 2025 to prayer,* taking responsibility for what cannot be outsourced. Ordinary homes became sacred spaces, with kitchens, bedrooms, and living rooms transformed into places of encounter. Fathers and mothers reassumed the rightful roles, not as spectators, but as priests, understanding that *prayer is not a luxury, but a necessity.*

The impact of those prayers transcends the calendar year, influencing children in classrooms, dorm rooms, and unseen decisions. They have held families together in the face of adversity.

As we enter 2026, we are reminded of the scriptural truth in *2 Corinthians 10:3*
*The world is unprincipled, it's dog-eat-dog. It doesn't fight fair. But we don't fight our battles that way-never have and never will.*

This explains the need to recognize the potency of prayer in changing the narrative.

This is not a season for complacency, but a clarion call to *plan intentionally* for the spiritual future of our children. The directive is clear: *No retreat. No surrender.* Not until divine order is established in the lives of our children and homes.

To that end, the *Talk and Pray Parenting Initiative* invites you to join us in our *"weekly prayer marathon",* resuming on *Tuesday, January 27, 2026*.
We encourage you to set aside dedicated time, arranging your life around what matters most.

Let us recommit to prayer, refusing to leave our children to chance or surrender our households to default.
The altar is prepared, and the future of our families beckons us to *deliberate action.*

Join us in *answering the call,* remembering that the world may be unprincipled, but our God is faithful.

Our duty as parents is primarily to protect our children from such negative association.

This is where we need to be vigilant and prayerful!

Firstly, same s*x are the most powerful sources of influence and decay, followed by family members. Make no mistake about this: uncles, aunties, nephews, nieces, cousins, etc. Then classmates, teachers, church members, domestic staff (cleaners, cook, and drivers), neighbors, and some trusted people, etc.

Please don’t assume your child is safe with the above-mentioned categories. Ask questions and don’t leave your children without supervision.

Finally, the major part of influence among children is spiritual. This is where prayer is necessary. If you don’t pray always for your children, they can be prey, captives, slaves, or victims of their environment or association. Beware! A word is enough for the wise.
