As we are planning, we are preparing for three connected programs: GLOBAL YOUTH DAY | YOUTH WEEK OF PRAYER (YOP) | HOMECOMING SABBATH.

Global Youth Day 2026 takes place on March 21, and on that same day, Youth Week of Prayer begins, continuing throughout the week. The week concludes on the next Sabbath, March 28, which is celebrated as Homecoming Sabbath.

This structure gives us three consecutive Sabbath focused on mission and purpose with the Lord, reflecting the theme “Communion in Action” moving from service, to prayer, to recommitment.

📢GLOBAL YOUTH DAY is coming, and now is the time to prepare.

Youth leaders, churches, and young people everywhere are called to begin planning and praying about how they will take part in Global Youth Day 2026. Each youth leader should intentionally prepare activities that reflect this year’s theme, “Communion in Action,” turning faith into meaningful service.
Inspired by Acts 4:31, we are reminded that when believers unite in prayer and purpose, God moves powerfully.

As we come together globally, we are called to boldly share God’s love through action and service, creating a ripple effect of positive change in our communities.

Everyone is encouraged to participate, because Global Youth Day is not just an event, it is a lifestyle.

We joyfully extend our heartfelt congratulations to our esteemed Union Youth Director on your well-deserved elevation to the West-Central Africa Division (WAD).

Sir, your years of faithful service, passion for youth ministry, and dedication to God’s work have not gone unnoticed. This new calling is not just a promotion, it is a divine recognition of grace, diligence, and excellence.

We are deeply proud of you, and we thank God for using you mightily in our Union. As you step into this higher responsibility, we pray that the same God who has walked with you thus far will continue to strengthen, empower, and enlarge your ministry. May your impact now spread beyond our Union to bless the entire Division and the world at large.

May the Lord continue to anoint you afresh, fill you with wisdom, surround you with favour, and make your leadership fruitful to His glory.
