TOPIC: WHY MUST I TAKE PERSONAL
RESPONSIBILITY?

SCRIPTURE:
"I must work the works of him that sent me, while it
is day: the night cometh, when no man can work."
John 9:4 (NIV).

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: You take personal
responsibility because no one can help you like
yourself, and no one can encourage you like you.

Personal responsibility is a critical requirement for progress in life.

Jesus Christ demonstrated this in
John 9:4 when He declared: I must work the works of Him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.
Notice the words: I must work the works…
This statement highlights personal responsibility.
That is why you must make up your mind to do
whatever it takes for your life to change.

Now, why is it important to take personal
responsibility?
It is important because no one can help you like
yourself, and no one can encourage you like you.
Others may genuinely care about you, but no one
can be as invested in your life as yourself.
Once you realize that no one can help you better than yourself, you will rise like a lion and take personal responsibility for your situation to change.

When you understand that no one else can do it
for you, you will stop waiting for people. You might have many relatives, but none of them is as
connected to your situation as you are. Even your
closest family members have their personal
concerns to deal with.

The best brother, sister, father, or mother you can
ever have is yourself. That is why you must rise
and take responsibility for the changes you desire in your life.

Beloved, stop waiting for others to do it for you; do it yourself. Arise and take personal responsibility today.

REMEMBER THIS: You take personal
responsibility because no one can help you like
yourself, and no one can encourage you like you.

ASSIGNMENTS:
1.Refuse to rely on others for help; trust God
completely.
2.Wake up and take personal responsibility for
your life.

PRAYER:
Father, I repent completely today from relying on
others for help. I receive the grace to fix my gaze on
You and take personal responsibility for my life
and destiny, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

QUOTE:
Responsibility is therefore placed on you to
maintain vigilance. Do not take the devil for
granted.

TEXT: LUKE 22:37-42
TOPIC: The Struggle for Fulfilment of Destiny.
PREACHER: REV. DANIEL AWORELE

"37 For I say unto you that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, and he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end. 38 And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, it is enough.
39 And he came out, and went, as he was wont , to the mount Ol-ives; and his disciples also followed him.
40 And he was at the place, he said unto them, pray that ye enter not into temptation.
41 And he was withdrawn from them about a Stone's cast, and he kneeled down, and prayed,
42 Saying, Father, if thou will be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done." Luke 22: 37-42

Jesus told his disciples that all the prophecies that were written about him must come to pass. His birth came to pass, his ministerial assignment, suffering, crucifixion, death and resurrection also came to pass on earth. What we are expecting now is his second coming. That must come to pass as well after all the end-time events. So when Jesus said "... for the things concerning me have an end", he was saying that prophecies about him must come to pass.

At the time when Jesus was saying this, he was preparing for his death on the cross for the salvation of humanity. His disciples were yet to understand what he was saying, they presented two swords to him as if to prepare for defense against enemies' attack. An account where Jesus miraculously put back the ear of Marcus when Peter cut it off, in the time of his arrest shows that Jesus was not in support of this so called defense for him. The implication is that it will hinder his redemptive mission.
As a matter of fact, Jesus went to Gethsemane to pray before his arrest and death. Though he is God, his human nature (while on earth) struggled with death; a shameful death. He knew it was the will of the Father to die for the world but foreseeing the terrible and shameful death brought agony to him in Gethsemane. Therefore, to fulfill his destiny, he submitted to the will of the Father.

In the struggle for fulfilment of destiny, every Christian needs to observe these:
* You must have a Gethsemane (prayer closet and time) where things are settled with God.

* You must know that the will of God is best for your life , no matter what you think and plan.

* You must not go against God's will because it has negative consequences.

* You need to know that we need grace to pray continuously. The disciples were sleeping instead of praying. The flesh hinders us from praying and doing God's will. Let us ask for grace.
May God help everyone of us in the journey of fulfilment of destiny in Jesus name.

TOPIC: THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR DESTINY FULFILLMENT

SCRIPTURE:
Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of
the Lord is risen upon thee. Isaiah 60:1

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The diligent usually
rise to eminence in life.

It has been established that fulfilling destiny
requires taking responsibility. People who see possibilities in life are those who embrace responsibility.

Now, what responsibilities should we take to
fulfil destiny?

1. Embrace Diligence
To fulfill destiny, you must embrace diligence.
Being diligent involves consistently deploying your life’s energy and resources into productive ventures.
Diligence is a brutal commitment to duty. It means giving the task at hand all that you have got. It is the synergy of energy and strategy. To be diligent is to mix hard work with smart work—to combine hand work with brain work.

Diligence is allergy to laziness and an aversion to indolence. The diligent are never idle or lazy. Hard work is the pathway to high achievement in life.

The diligent usually rise to eminence in life.
Laziness, on the other hand, is a limitation to life and destiny.

2. Cultivate a Sense of Urgency
A sense of urgency is essential for destiny
fulfillment. It involves living on the edge. It is being proactive and placing a high value on time.

Living with urgency means making every moment count by exchanging the passage of time with the
production of value. Results, impact,
accomplishments and progress should accompany every passing time. For example:

 Can you account for what you have
accomplished in the past week?

 What value did you produce in the last month?

Having a sense of urgency makes you escape the
tragedy of time wastage. It is a mindset that
ensures every second, minute, and hour is utilized productively.

What is my counsel to you?

1.Embrace diligence with a brutal commitment
to every task at hand.

2.Cultivate a sense of urgency and make every
moment count in your journey toward destiny
fulfillment.

REMEMBER THIS: The diligent usually rise to
eminence in life.

ASSIGNMENT:
1.Commit to diligent, focused, and productive
work.

2.Exchange every passage of time with
meaningful and value-producing activity.

PRAYER:
Father, I ask for a fresh baptism of diligence and a strong sense of urgency. Grant me the grace to live
a life of purpose and destiny fulfilment, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

acceptance of responsibility. The celebration of
knowledge is not wisdom.

YOU ARE IN THE PROCESS JUST AS BREAD.

If you've ever been to a bakery, you might never want to eat bread again.

If you're the kind of person who gets irritated when life stretches you beyond your comfort zone, I beg you, don’t read this post.

When I ask people why they love bread, most of them can’t even explain it. They just know it’s soft, quick, versatile, and easy (that's the word).
Bread doesn’t waste your time. It goes with anything. It’s always there.

But have you ever stopped to ask yourself:

What does it take to become bread?... If you haven't, Let me show you.

First comes the flour but not just any flour, it must be sifted. Every lump, every imperfection removed.

Then it is mixed. Not gently. Not kindly.
It is thrown, turned, crushed, rolled over and over again. Butter, sugar, flavors, poured in, not to pamper it, but to break it down further.

Just when you think that’s enough, it is cut, molded, and shoved into shape. Then comes the worst part: THE FIRE.

Not a mild flame, not a sweet breeze of heat but a fire so hot that even the baker stands at a distance. And the bread stays there… for as long as it takes.

All of this pain, all of this pressure, Just to become something that can be eaten in seconds.

And yet, it is in that pain the bread finds its purpose.

So tell me…
Why do you cry at the first sight of heat in your own life?

Why do you abandon your calling because the mixing hurts?

Why do you run from process, when even bread doesn’t?

You want your name on platforms, your gift on stages, your voice in nations.

You want the world to taste your greatness.

But you don’t want to be sifted.

You don’t want to be cut.

You don’t want to enter the fire.

My dear, if you saw what bread goes through behind bakery walls, you might never eat it again.

Here’s the truth:
The impact of bread lasts far longer than the process of becoming it. And so will yours.

If only you pay the price.

You are not flour anymore. You are becoming.
Embrace the heat. Submit to the shaping and rise.

TOPIC: ARE YOU JUST TALKING IT OR DOING
IT?

SCRIPTURE:
The company of the prophets said to Elisha, “Look, the place where we meet with you is too small for us. Let us go to the Jordan, where each of us can get a pole; and let us build a place there for us to live.”
And he said, “Go.”
2 Kings 6:1-2 (NIV)

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Talking about your
situation without doing anything about it will not
bring change.

Analysis without responsibility
cannot bring transformation

In life, change comes only when personal
responsibility is accepted. You cannot succeed, progress, or expand your territory in life until you
take decisive actions.
Unfortunately, many people spend their time
complaining about their situation or how terrible
the devil is. They analyse their problems without
doing anything to change their circumstances.

Meanwhile, talking about your situation without
doing anything about it will not bring change.
Analysis without responsibility cannot bring transformation. It takes desperation and
determined action to experience transformation in
life and destiny.

A story was once told about a young man who was looking for a job. Early in the morning, he would leave home in a tireless search for employment. In
one of the places that he went to look for job, they
told him that they won’t hire him because he
totally lacked experience. Instead of walking away
in disappointment, he boldly told them, Employ me free of charge for six months, and I will gain the experience you require. Eventually, his proactive and determined response earned him the job.

This story teaches us an important lesson: It is not your complaints or discussions about your
dissatisfaction that change your situation—it is what you do about it. No one, not even God, will take the responsibility that you are meant to take
for your life to change. The responsibility for your change lies with you.

Beloved, if you desire to move from failure to
success, from poverty to prosperity, from obscurity to prominence, or from lukewarmness to spiritual intensity, you must take personal responsibility.
When you become genuinely fed up with your current condition and begin to take decisive actions for change, no force can stop your transformation.

REMEMBER THIS: Talking about your situation without doing anything about it will not bring change; analysis without responsibility cannot bring transformation.

ASSIGNMENT:
1.Refuse to focus solely on analysing your
challenges; take responsibility for change.

2.Commit to consistent actions that lead to
consistent progress.

PRAYER:
Father, I ask for deliverance from the habit of mere
analysis and perennial complaints. I receive the
grace to take consistent and decisive actions to
enforce change in my life. Help me, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

NO ONE IS MISSING
Num 31:48- 49 KJV And the officers which were over thousands of the host, the captains of thousands, and captains of hundreds, came near unto Moses:
And they said unto Moses, Thy servants have taken the sum of the men of war which are under our charge, and there lacketh not one man of us.
Hallelujah!! Isn't this interesting? Men and brethren, the Captains of platoons who were accountable to Moses brought report of war to Moses, after a thorough check, not a single soldier was missing in the battalions. Not a single soldier was hit by missiles either by premonition or by accidental discharge. Why?
The reason is because these people were working under the Abrahamic covenant.
Gen 17:10-14 KJV This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised.
And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your fo****in; and it shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you.
And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seed.
He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needs be circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant.
And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his fo****in is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant.
The Israelites could not suffer any casualties in war because they carry the tokens of God's covenant in their flesh by virtue of the circumcision. So as long as they service the terms of the covenant, they are bound to be protected by Jehovah Elohim
If the Israelites could be this protected, how much more shall we who walk in the covenant of the Son of God be protected.
Heb 9:14 KJV How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
Men and brethren, when we look at our lives, family, church, business associates and colleagues, no one is missing. From January till the end of December, the Mark of the Lord Jesus Christ has driven evil far away from us. Amazing, you may not have millions in your account but the good health you are enjoying free today, some are using millions of naira to look for it. Why won't you give a shout out to the one who has redeemed your life from destruction.
I remember one of my Biology textbooks in my secondary school days, under Excretion says having your two kidneys functioning very well, is a great asset.
And they said unto Moses, Thy servants have taken the sum of the men of war which are under our charge, and there lacketh not one man of us.
INDEED, NO ONE IS MISSING.
