THE 4 NON-NEGOTIABLES BEFORE YOU SLEEP 😴 EVERY NIGHT 🙏
1. SETTLE ACCOUNTS WITH GOD – “CHECK YOUR HEART”Psalm 4:4
Don’t sleep with unconfessed sin. Why? The night is when battles are fought Job 33:14-15. Go into it clean.
Do this: 60 seconds. Say: “Lord, search me. Any sin today? Thought, word, action? I repent. Wash me.” 1 John 1:9
If you offended someone, text them: “Forgive me.” Matt 5:23-24 Don’t let the sun go down on wrath Eph 4:26.
2. SETTLE ACCOUNTS WITH MEN – “RELEASE EVERYBODY”
Unforgiveness is a pillow the devil uses to whisper at night.Mark 11:25
Do this: Mention names: “I forgive. I release them. My sleep will be sweet.” Prov 3:24
You can’t bind enemies if you’re tied to them in your heart.
3. COVER YOUR TERRITORY – “DRAW THE BLOODLINE” Ex 12:13
You own your room spiritually. Enforce it before you surrender to sleep.
Do this: Lay hands on your bed, door, window. Say: “I draw the blood of Jesus over this house. No evil shall pass here. Angels on duty. Only what God allows enters. In Jesus’ name.” Psalm 91:10-11
Anoint your forehead if you have oil. Psalm 23:5
4. COMMIT YOUR NIGHT TO GOD “DOWNLOAD INSTRUCTIONS”Psalm 16:7
Sleep is not empty. God speaks in dreams Job 33:15, renews strength Isaiah 40:31, and downloads strategy.
Do this: Say: “Father, as I sleep, teach me. Speak to me. Repair my body. Fight for me. Wake me with direction.”
Then read Psalm 91 or Psalm 23 out loud. Let the Word be the last thing your spirit hears.
IF YOU HAVE ONLY 3 MINUTES, DO THIS “GETHSEMANE NIGHT PRAYER”:
“Father, I repent of today’s sins. I forgive everybody. I plead the blood over my life, family, and Gethsemane. I reject every arrow of the night. Speak to me in my dream. Wake me with testimony. I sleep under Your wings. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
Then sleep.
WHY THIS MATTERS:
1. Many attacks are launched 12am-3am Matt 13:25. A covered man sleeps, but his defense doesn’t.
2. Your last 10 mins before sleep program your subconscious. News = fear. Word = faith.
3. Jesus did it: “He went up on a mountainside by Himself to pray. When evening came, He was there alone” Matt 14:23. If He ended His day with God, so should we.
