It's my birthday today.

33 years of God's goodness.

More souls to save, and more Christians to inspire towards evangelism.

Life does not count in longevity; it only counts in doing the will of God.

Scholarship into the August academic session of ChurchGrowth360 University is my birthday giveaway for this year. Send a DM to get further details and criteria.

The harvest is plenty, and I am happy to be a laborer.

THE BLOOD OF SPRINKLING

Often, you would hear some Christians say in prayer, "I sprinkle/plead the blood of Jesus over . . ." If you have traveled in commercial buses while commuting between two states or countries, you may have likely heard such statements made by a preacher who wants to spiritually secure the journey for everyone in the bus.

But here is what I want you to understand. Such communication in prayer is alien to the New Covenant. Not even the Old Covenant saints prayed that way.

The Priest literally applied the blood of sprinkling to temple worship; but for the New Covenant saints who have the real experience of the blood sprinkling, we must understand the reality of the blood of sprinkling and our use of it in our everyday living.

Here is a scripture that identifies the blood of sprinkling as a feature in the New Covenant.

“And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.”
— Hebrews 12:24 (KJV)

To understand what the blood of sprinkling means, we must refer to the Old Covenant and observe how the Levitical Priesthood operated the blood of sprinkling, and through the inspiration of the Spirit of God, understand the New Covenant meaning of the blood of sprinkling and its application.

Exodus 24 (KJV)
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
⁶ And Moses took half of the blood, and put it in basons; and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar.
⁷ And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the LORD hath said will we do, and be obedient.
⁸ And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD hath made with you concerning all these words.

“And he shall lay his hand upon the head of it, and kill it before the tabernacle of the congregation: and the sons of Aaron shall sprinkle the blood thereof upon the altar round about.”
— Leviticus 3:13 (KJV)

“For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:”
— Hebrews 9:13 (KJV)

In the Levitical ordinance, we see the blood of sprinkling feature in the atonement of the sins of the children of Israel; which atonement is temporary and a shadow of the true and lasting atonement done by Jesus Christ.

Before we examine the correlation between the blood of sprinkling in the Old Covenant and the blood of sprinkling in the New Covenant, let us understand from the scripture, what the blood of Jesus means.

According to the Levitical Ordinance, blood represents life.

“For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof: whosoever eateth it shall be cut off.”
— Leviticus 17:14 (KJV)

The blood of bulls was a shadow of the blood of Jesus.

So, the blood of Jesus means the life of Jesus.

With this understanding, you know that what should come to mind when the blood of Jesus is mentioned is the life of Jesus and not the liquid blood of Jesus.

Quite funny, a preacher, while praying in a bus was applying the blood of Jesus to the windscreen, brakes, and the eyes of the driver. You can tell that his understanding of the blood of Jesus is a spiritual liquid blood of Jesus that flows once called upon.

Back to our understanding of the correlation between the blood of sprinkling in the Old Covenant and the blood of sprinkling in the New Covenant.

The blood of sprinkling in the Old Covenant was applied in atoning for the sins of the Children of Israel by the Priest dipping a sponge into the blood and sprinkling it upon the altar roundabout and upon the people.

In the New Covenant, the blood of sprinkling was applied in the atonement of the sins of the whole world through the death, burial, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ; and it is to this day being applied through the preaching of the gospel by Christians.

The sprinkling of the blood of Jesus is what we do in the preaching of the gospel to men.

The life of Jesus is in the gospel. The application of that life is in the preaching of the gospel to the end that the hearts of men will be sprinkled from an evil conscience and their flesh (faculties of their soul) washed with the pure word of God which is the gospel.

“Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.”
— Hebrews 10:22 (KJV)

See how the writer of the Book of Hebrews associates speaking with the blood of sprinkling.

“And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.”
— Hebrews 12:24 (KJV)

In the New Covenant, the sprinkling of the blood of Jesus is the speaking of the life of Jesus which is in the preaching of the gospel.

Another application of the blood of sprinkling in the New Covenant is in commanding blessings upon whatever we want a blessing to rest upon.

The blessings we command sanctify whatever it is commanded over. It separates that person or thing from that which is opposite to the blessing.

In the Old Covenant, items were sanctified through the blood of sprinkling.

“Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry.”
— Hebrews 9:21 (KJV)

So, when we speak a blessing over our lives, or the lives of other people or over a thing, we must know that we are speaking from the life of Jesus that we have and that is an application of the blood of sprinkling.

When Christians say in prayer, "I sprinkle the blood of Jesus over my . . .," they have achieved nothing in the realm of the spirit or in the realm of earth.

Such communication is alien to the New Covenant.

When we embrace the New Testament understanding of the blood of sprinkling, we will communicate intelligently as it relates to the blood of sprinkling.

If you want to sprinkle the blood of Jesus, go out and preach the gospel to sinners.

If you want to sprinkle the blood of Jesus, command a blessing over whatever you desire a blessing upon.

When we preach the gospel, it is the life of Jesus we are communicating to men.

When we command a blessing, it is a reality of the life of Jesus we are communicating.

God has blessed you.

At Destiny Kingston Ministries, Grace Devotions Church, ChurchGrowth360 and The Publishers Network, we are grateful to God for another opportunity to labor in the vineyard of the Father.

It is for us the year of OPEN GATES. . .supernatural access and supply by the Spirit of God.

We begin to contend with this word for access to nations and supply of resources for the work of the Lord in our hands.

We begin to live in the experience of this word in access to nations and supply of resources for the work of the Lord in our hands.

“Open ye the gates, that the righteous nation which keepeth the truth may enter in.”
— Isaiah 26:2 (KJV)

“Therefore thy gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto thee the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought.”
— Isaiah 60:11 (KJV)

God has blessed us, and we see the proof of same in year 2024 like never seen before.

HOW NOT TO SINK WHEN WALKING ON WATER!

When we read about the event of Peter walking on water, we may conclude that he sank because he saw the wind boisterous. But that wasn't the reason he sank. A close look at the event under the illumination of the Spirit of God would reveal the reason he sank when he was already experiencing a miracle.

The event of Peter walking on water is a pattern for how the man in Christ is to experience the miraculous. The operating principles for the miraculous, as seen in Peter walking on water, are: know the will of God; believe the will of God; take action based on the will of God; focus on the will of God and not on the boisterous wind.

It was okay for Peter to see the boisterous wind; there was no way he wouldn't have seen it, so that wasn't a problem at all.

This is just as it is not a problem for you to be aware of the problems around your life. You've done nothing wrong if you feel hurt in the divinely ordained relationship you are in. I can tell you for a fact that it is okay if you are aware of the economic challenges that are threatening your obedience to the assignment of God in your hands. It is also not wrong if you are aware of the opposition from darkness. These situations are like the boisterous wind Peter saw.

How could Peter have walked on water to Jesus without feeling the wind on his body? How could he have walked on water to Jesus without seeing the boisterous wind in front of him? So, this has established the fact that seeing the wind was not the reason Peter sank.

You may have also thought that Peter sank because he was afraid, but that wasn't the reason he sank. You can walk in faith afraid, but you can never walk in faith doubting. You can obey God afraid, but you can never obey God doubting.

Why then did Peter sink?

Peter sank because he stood on water as a result of the boisterous wind around him.

The instruction was for him to walk on water and not stand on water.

Peter thought that his stability in the midst of the boisterous wind will come from standing on water; he did not know that his stability would come from walking on water.

The real problem Peter brought upon himself was allowing the boisterous wind around him to inform his decision to stand on water. At that moment, he doubted Jesus' call for him to walk on water and rather embraced the "safety" of standing on water—in doing this, he sank!

You may feel that the problems around you give you a valid reason to stand in the midst of the assignment God has given you, just as Peter thought that the boisterous wind gave him a valid reason to stand on water. If there is anything the boisterous wind gives, it is a valid reason to walk on water.

It is by walking on water that you walk out of the problems around you. It is by walking on the revealed word of God to you that you walk out of the problems around you.

Did you not read in the scripture, "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death..." Psalms 23:4. We do not stand in the valley of the shadow of death; we walk through the valley of the shadow of death.

While it is okay for you to be aware of the challenges around your life, never allow them to make you stop obeying the Lord in that which he has led you into.

When you are walking in the will of God, If you take a decision contrary to the instruction of the Lord because of the boisterous wind, you will sink.

Continue to obey the Lord in spite of the challenges of life; in doing this, you will successfully come to the Lord on water.

I FEEL LIKE GIVING UP!

I understand that you feel like giving up on that good thing you are doing because you have not seen a reward for your labor?

I do not know that good thing you are doing, but if I will make a guess, it could be the preaching of the gospel; giving to meet people's needs; praying and serving God in the local Church. Whatever it is, I have a word from God for you today.

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
— Galatians 6:9 (KJV)

See ehn, there is a due season for you to reap the harvest of your good deeds. You sure believe that God does not lie, right? See what he says about harvest of labors.

Isaiah 65 (KJV)
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
²³ They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them.
²⁴ And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.

When you get to that due time for harvest, it will be like magic when before you call, God answers you, and while you are yet speaking he hears you and perform what you desire.

But what you must know is that you will only reap this harvest if you faint not.

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
— Galatians 6:9 (KJV)

"Why should I continue doing that good thing that I am presently doing?

It is necessary for you to continue doing that good thing you are presently doing because the reward is designed to meet you doing that good thing.

That which you are currently doing that you have not received a reward for, know that there is a day you will do that same thing and boom! there will be an avalanche of rewards coming out of it.

This will then be for you the fulfilment of the scripture that says that the harvest will overtake the seed planting.

"Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him who sows the seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine and all the hills shall melt [that is, everything heretofore barren and unfruitful shall overflow with spiritual blessing]." Amos 9:13 (Amp)

"But Apostle Destiny, it is painful to continue doing good with nothing to show for it."

I understand how you feel, here is what God says,

Psalms 126 (KJV)
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
⁵ They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.
⁶ He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

Continue doing that good work, for you will reap if you faint not.

God has blessed you.

HERE IS THE WORD OF THE LORD!

For I begin where you stopped.
For where your efforts stopped, there I begin says the Lord.
I begin where your efforts have failed you.

So that that which I do, man will not take glory for it.
So that that which I do, it will be evident that I am the one doing it.
For I begin where you stopped.
For I begin where you stopped.

For you shall begin to see my glory, says the Lord.
For even the glory that accompanies the man in Christ, you shall begin to see it.
And it is not only your eyes that shall see it;
For even as a testimony, the eyes of many shall see it.

For that which I begin to do will not be hidden.
For that which I begin to do will be visible.
For my glory will be announced abroad.

For even that which I do in your life says the Lord,
It shall be a melody on the lips of people.
They shall not only talk about it; they shall sing about it.
For people will begin to create songs with that which I do in your life.

For people shall find it in themselves
to make music out of that which I do in your life.
For it shall be melodious, says the Lord.

For you shall be drunk in that which I do.
For you shall be drunk, not with wine, but with my glory.
You shall be drunk with my glory.
For I shall satisfy you abundantly, says the Lord.

For I shall satisfy you abundantly.
For I will drown lack in the satisfaction that I bring.
For I will drown thirst in the satisfaction that I bring.
For I will drown hunger in the satisfaction that I bring.
For I will drown need in the satisfaction that I bring.

For even that which I do in your life will be a wonder to angels.
For when they see what I do in your life,
They will marvel at the works of my hands.
For I shall use you to display my glory, says the Lord.

I will use you to showcase my glory.
The world has not yet known my glory, says the Lord.
For that which they think they know, they do not know yet.
But I will use you as my display.
For I will use you to display my glory.
For you shall be a manifestation of my glory, says the Lord.
For that which the world waits for is my glory, which shall be revealed through you.

DAIRY OF A SOULWINNER

One of the cultures we want to uphold in Grace Devotions Church is daily evangelism. We've figured out that if the Lord will add daily to the church such as to be saved, then the church must be engaged in personal evangelism everyday.

We went out today to evangelize, and interestingly we got 11 people saved! We invited them to our services and they agreed to attend.

The highlight for us was our conversation with a woman and her two children. They were not born again and so I preached the gospel to them and they believed unto salvation. On our invitation, they agreed to attend our services. Their willingness was so amazing that they followed us to know my residence where we hold our services. We will be having them tomorrow at our Tuesday Bible study service.

If the church will engage consistently in soulwinning, there will be much harvest added to the local church.

The harvest is plenty and all shall be reaped.

We officially started our local church ministry today!

It was an awesome service today. It was simply supernatural with abundance of prophecies, word of knowledge, new songs and a message on New Beginning.

We had to start in my living room as we put funds together to secure a hall and get equipment.

I stay in a private residential estate with only 13 houses in it. Since October last year, I have been holding back from using my living room for church services because of the much people who will be coming into the estate.

Every visitor to the estate must call their host on the phone in order to be allowed to pass through the gate; that apparently can't work for ministry, and no sooner, security concerns will be raised by the estate management and my neighbors.

The delay continued and God's word for a local church ministry kept on echoing in my heart; hence the reason we started the fundraising to get funds to secure a facility and equip it.

As I meditated yesterday, I concluded within myself that I can start from where I am and with what I have. I would ensure that I do not invite much people for our services. I reasoned that having four to five people present will not raise a security concern, so I announced on Saturday that we would be starting, and yes, we did start.

What is that thing that God has told you to do that you have delayed doing because you want conditions to be perfect. If you wait for perfect conditions, you will never get anything done.

We are still receiving donations towards our local Church ministry. As the Lord has blessed you, do give knowing that you have a blessing from the Lord.

Send a DM if you want to make a donation!

God has blessed you.

The Lord of the Harvest has given us an instruction to establish a local Church ministry, and we are taking steps in obedience to the heavenly vision.

Grace Devotions Church will follow the apostolic pattern of local Church ministry recorded in the book of Acts. We want to raise Christians who will be given to the teaching of the gospel, demonstration of the power of Christ, world evangelization, and conduct in love.

There is a need for financial resources to secure a church facility, renovate the church facility, and get basic church equipment and furnishings. We would like you to partner with us in our local Church ministry.

In meeting our fundraising target, every donation counts, and we are certain that everyone who partners with us in this church planting project will have a reward from the Lord of the harvest.

To donate, kindly use the link in the comment section.

God has blessed you richly!
