There are days I wish to see return back to the body of Christ, they are the days when men and women run after God with genuine love for Him. That's a heart that seeks to know what the will of God is per time that he may do nothing else but to walk in it.
A time when the passion for more of God blazes like a white fire in the hearts of men. Yes, they were days when you don't need an announcement to recognize young men and women who were madly after God when you are around them, because their lives tell the story.
Sometimes when I remember the kind of Christian faith we started with just a couple of years ago and I sit to compare it with the so called Christianity we see today, I ask myself, 'How exactly did we manage to arive at what we have today as Christianity."
When you compare the faith that the saints of yesterday walked with and what the church of today have, you will know indeed that we need revival today, more than most noise we see going-on on many altars right now.
You know the question that keeps ringing in my heart anytime I remember where we are today? I keep asking myself, "In the midst of all the jumping up and down and screaming we see in today's church, where is the Christ of the Church?" Today, we have a lot of noise than revival, and the cross which is the essence of Christianity replaced with strategies. We seek numerical growth of most of our Christian gathering, while in most of it we care very little or none about the authenticity of the faith and the spiritual growth of the people.
For these things, I pray with sorrow in my heart that God may point us back to where we missed the real thing. Where we will locate again the faith that was first delivered to the saints.
God send again to us REVIVAL.
