Dear Beloved,

Thank you all for your commitment and consistency in last year’s Bible-in-a-Year journey. Your discipline, discussions, and hunger for God’s Word were truly encouraging. We bless God for every life that was strengthened and shaped through the Scriptures.

As we begin this new year, we will again aim to read through the Bible in a year, but with a renewed emphasis on inductive and meditative Bible study. Our daily focus will be one chapter per day, starting with the Gospel of John in the New Testament. We will be starting on Monday, 12th.

Inductive study helps us to observe carefully, understand the text in its context, and apply God’s truth personally. Meditative reading allows the Word to move beyond information into transformation, shaping our thoughts, prayers, and daily walk with Christ. Our goal is not just to finish the Bible, but to let the Bible finish its work in us.

We encourage everyone to read slowly, ask questions, reflect prayerfully, and engage actively. As we journey together, may the Holy Spirit open our eyes to behold wondrous things from God’s Word.

Thank you for walking this path together. Let us press on—deeper, richer, and more intentional in the Word.

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” (Psalm 119:105)

Joseph faced every excuse pro-choice men still use today:
an unplanned pregnancy, an out-of-wedlock situation, scandal, poverty, and no clear future. He didn’t walk away. He stepped up. He protected Mary and raised the Savior as his own son. His willingness helped usher salvation into the world.

Men, that’s the bar. Step up. Be like Joseph.

Fully God and fully man, Christ took on flesh and lived among us to redeem His people. This truth is the foundation of our hope and the reason we rejoice at Christmas.

He answered her not a word (Matthew 15:23 ).

He will be silent in his love (Zephaniah 3:17 ).

It may be a child of God is reading these words who has had some great crushing sorrow, some bitter disappointment, some heart-breaking blow from a totally unexpected quarter. You are longing for your Master's voice bidding you "Be of good cheer," but only silence and a sense of mystery and misery meet you --"He answered her not a word."

God's tender heart must often ache listening to all the sad, complaining cries which arise from our weak, impatient hearts, because we do not see that for our own sakes He answers not at all or otherwise than seems best to our tear-blinded, short-sighted eyes. The silences of Jesus are as eloquent as His speech and may be a sign, not of His disapproval, but of His approval and of a deep purpose of blessing for you.
