Night prayer

Lord, as we lay down to rest tonight, we thank You for the gift of this day.
Forgive us for our sins and shortcomings, and fill our hearts with Your peace.
Protect us through the night, keep our loved ones safe,
and renew our strength for the day to come.
Into Your hands, we place our life.
Through Christ our Lord
