During Sunday’s session, Rev. Dolapo Tukuru taught us that gratitude is more than a response to what God does. It is a posture we choose, rooted in who He is. Even when things don’t go as planned, when we falter, or when the answers we’re waiting for haven’t come yet, we can still choose to keep a grateful heart. Because thanksgiving makes room for us to trust God, acknowledge His goodness, and allow His will to be worked out in our lives. 🤍

Let us always go forth with this mindset; there is always a reason to be thankful. 🙏🏽

Yesterday’s evening session with Rev. Kachi Asugha enlightened us on what it truly means to triumph always.
He reminded us that there is a connection between our surrender to Christ and the victory we experience in Him. To triumph in Christ is first to be fully yielded to Christ, recognising His lordship and allowing our lives to depend completely on Him. In other words, we are both captives of Christ and conquerors in Christ. 🙌🏽

As we prepare for the October Fast, may our pursuit of God go beyond what we want Him to do for us, and become about knowing Him, hearing Him, and walking closely with Him.
