WEDNESDAY, MAY 20, 2026.

Topic: BULLYING AND PEER PRESSURE
Text: EPHESIANS 4:29-32

VERSE OF THE DAY:
_“LET NO CORRUPT WORD PROCEED OUT OF YOUR MOUTH, BUT WHAT IS GOOD FOR NECESSARY EDIFICATION, THAT IT MAY IMPART GRACE TO THE HEARERS. AND DO NOT GRIEVE THE HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD, BY WHOM YOU WERE SEALED FOR THE DAY OF REDEMPTION. LET ALL BITTERNESS, WRATH, ANGER, CLAMOUR, AND EVIL SPEAKING BE PUT AWAY FROM YOU, WITH ALL MALICE. AND BE KIND TO ONE ANOTHER, TENDER-HEARTED, FORGIVING ONE ANOTHER, EVEN AS GOD IN CHRIST FORGAVE YOU” - EPHESIANS 4:29-32 (NKJV)._

Bullying and peer pressure are prevalent issues that can deeply affect individuals, particularly in school environments and social settings. This lesson explores how to confront these challenges with God’s perspective and guidance, which includes the following.

1. Understanding Bullying: Bullying can take many forms, including verbal, physical, and relational aggression. It often stems from insecurity and the desire for control or dominance. Recognising the impact of bullying on both victims and perpetrators is crucial. It can lead to lasting emotional and psychological harm.

2. Responding to Bullies: As Christians, our response should be rooted in love and compassion. Ephesians 4:29 encourages us to use our words for edification. Instead of retaliating with anger or harsh words, we can choose to respond with kindness and assertiveness. Seeking support from trusted adults, friends, or mentors is also important in addressing bullying.

3. Peer Pressure Dynamics: Peer pressure can lead individuals to compromise their values or engage in harmful behaviours to fit in. It is essential to cultivate a strong sense of identity in Christ, understanding that our value does not depend on others' opinions. Romans 12:2 reminds us not to conform to this world but to be transformed by the renewing of our minds.

4. Standing Firm in Faith: When faced with bullying or peer pressure, standing up for what is right may require courage. Philippians 4:13 states, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Relying on God’s strength can empower us to resist negative influences and make choices that honour Him.

5. Seeking Help and Support: If you or someone you know is experiencing bullying or peer pressure, it is vital to reach out for help. This can be through parents, teachers, counsellors, or friends. Building a support network is key to navigating these challenges.

6. Promoting a Positive Environment: As members of the body of Christ, we are called to be a source of encouragement and support for one another. Practising kindness, understanding, and forgiveness, as outlined in Ephesians 4:32, helps create a positive community that discourages bullying and peer pressure.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, help me to confront bullying and peer pressure with grace and courage in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

THE ANCIENT LANDMARK (Part 2)
Proverbs 22:28, Jeremiah 6:16, Psalm 11:3, 2 Corinth. 6:14–18
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

INTRODUCTION
We are different kinds of people and should avoid corruption. There are certain things we do not do as believers even if they are trending in society. Ancient landmarks are godly principles that preserve our lives, families, and relationship with God.

ANCIENT LANDMARKS TO MAINTAIN:
1️⃣ Landmark of Truth and Integrity. (Proverbs 12:22).
Truth and integrity are foundations for a righteous life. God delights in people who are honest and trustworthy. Integrity means doing what is right even when no one is watching.

2️⃣ Landmark of Family Altar.
Bible Text: Joshua 24:15
"As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."

Your house is everything connected to you — your family, business, employees, and those under your influence. Ensure that everyone under your watch is directed toward serving God.

The family altar is a place of prayer. It is in the place of prayer that situations are altered on the altar.

As a couple, praying together brings the peace of God into the home. If your house is not on fire for God, the devil may have free access to operate within the family.

3️⃣ Landmark of Honor and Respect. (Ephesians 6:3).
Honor is gradually diminishing in our generation. We must learn to respect parents, leaders, and those in authority.

✔ Honor is not given because a person is perfect.
✔ Honor means giving respect to whom respect is due.
✔ A home without honor becomes emotionally toxic.
✔ Separate yourself from people who dishonor authority if you want to remain spiritually healthy.
Honor your parents, leaders, and those God has placed over you.

4️⃣ Landmark of Commitment and Covenant. (Jere. 35:13–19)
The Rechabites kept the instructions of their forefather and refused to drink wine. Because of their obedience and generational loyalty, God rewarded them with a lasting promise.

The proof of your walk with God is seeing your children serving God.

🔑 KEY TRUTHS:
1️⃣ Timeless principles guide families better than modern trends.
2️⃣ A praying home creates a spiritual atmosphere and protection that no program can replace.
3️⃣ Honor releases the flow of anointing, while dishonor shuts it down.
4️⃣ Covenants outlast feelings.

SUMMARY:
The enemy uses dishonor, gossip, and unforgiveness to quench the Spirit.

Let us return to the ancient landmarks so that the next generation will continue to stand before the Lord.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

🙏 PRAYER POINTS:
1️⃣ Oh God, take away every form of corruption in me.
2️⃣ Whatever has affected my relationship with God and with men, let it be removed from me.
3️⃣ Oh Lord, remove every form of distraction before me.

RETURN TO THE ANCIENT LANDMARK.
"Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths..." (Jeremiah 6:16).

Topic: FINDING IDENTITY IN CHRIST
Text: 2 CORINTHIANS 5:17

VERSE OF THE DAY:
_“THEREFORE, IF ANYONE IS IN CHRIST, HE IS A NEW CREATION; OLD THINGS HAVE PASSED AWAY; BEHOLD, ALL THINGS HAVE BECOME NEW”- 2 CORINTHIANS 5:17 (NKJV)._

Understanding our identity in Christ is foundational for a fulfilling Christian life. As believers, our identity is transformed through our relationship with Him, moving from our past to a renewed purpose and belonging. This devotion explores how to discover and live out our true identity in Christ.

Firstly, recognising that our identity is rooted in our connection with Jesus is essential. The verse of the day reminds us that being in Christ means we are new creations, free from the burdens of sin and past failures. This transformation is not just a change of heart but a complete renewal of who we are. Embracing this reality helps us to see ourselves through God's eyes, not defined by our mistakes but by His grace.

Furthermore, understanding our worth in Christ is crucial. Ephesians 2:10 affirms that we are God's workmanship, created in Christ for good works. This means we have intrinsic value and purpose, designed intentionally by our Creator. Meditating on this truth can help us combat feelings of inadequacy and comparison, reminding us that we are uniquely crafted for a significant role in God's kingdom.

Our identity in Christ also frees us from the opinions and labels the world may place on us. Colossians 3:3 states, “For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.” In Him, we are no longer defined by societal standards or earthly achievements. Instead, our identity rests securely in the love and acceptance of Christ, which brings peace and confidence amidst life's uncertainties.

To fully embrace our identity, it is important to immerse ourselves in Scripture and prayer. The Bible reveals truths about who we are in Christ, and regular communication with God deepens our understanding of His love and acceptance. The more we align our thoughts with His Word, the more we can live out our identity authentically.

Additionally, connecting with a supportive community of believers can reinforce our identity in Christ. Engaging with others who share this truth encourages us to grow in faith and reminds us of our shared identity. Hebrews 10:24-25 encourages us not to forsake gathering together, as building each other up in faith affirms and strengthens our understanding of who we are as the body of Christ.

Lastly, living out our identity in Christ means serving others in love. Galatians 5:13 teaches us to serve one another humbly in love. Understanding that we are called to reflect Christ’s character enables us to impact those around us positively, living out our identity through acts of kindness and grace.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, help me to see myself through Your eyes and to embrace my identity in Christ in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

DAILY GRACE DEVOTIONAL
FRIDAY, MAY 15, 2026.

Topic: DEVELOPING A LIFESTYLE OF WORSHIP
Text: ROMANS 12:1-2

VERSE OF THE DAY:
_“I BESEECH YOU THEREFORE, BRETHREN, BY THE MERCIES OF GOD, THAT YOU PRESENT YOUR BODIES A LIVING SACRIFICE, HOLY, ACCEPTABLE TO GOD, WHICH IS YOUR REASONABLE SERVICE”- ROMANS 12:1 (NKJV)._

Developing a lifestyle of worship is a profound aspect of our Christian walk. It is essential to understand that worship extends beyond music and singing; it is a way of life. This devotion explores the implications of living a life of worship and provides practical steps to nurture this essential part of our faith.

First, understanding worship as a lifestyle involves recognising that it is more than what happens within a church service. Our verse of the day encourages us to present our bodies as living sacrifices. This implies that worship includes our daily actions and decisions, reflecting reverence and adoration for God in everything we do. A lifestyle of worship is characterised by surrendering our will and desires to align with God’s purposes.

Furthermore, Romans 12:2 emphasises the transformation and renewal of our minds, critical components of a worshipful life. We are called to resist conforming to the patterns of this world and instead let our minds be renewed by God’s Word.
To cultivate a lifestyle of worship, we should prioritise spending time with God. This can be achieved through prayer, meditating on Scripture, and seeking a deep, personal relationship with the Lord. As we grow closer to God, our worship becomes more genuine and transformative, affecting every aspect of our lives.

Moreover, fellowship with other believers encourages and nurtures a lifestyle of worship. Hebrews 10:24-25 reminds us of the importance of gathering together to stimulate love and good deeds. Engaging with others in worship, prayer, and study creates a supportive community that inspires us to live out our faith daily.

Additionally, practising gratitude is essential in developing a lifestyle of worship. By intentionally focusing on God's blessings and faithfulness, we cultivate a heart of thanksgiving and worship. This attitude not only honours God but also enriches our spiritual journey and brings joy and peace into our lives.

Lastly, seeking opportunities to serve others is a powerful expression of worship. By extending love, kindness, and assistance to those in need, we demonstrate Christ-like character and worship God through our service.

In conclusion, developing a lifestyle of worship is crucial for a meaningful Christian life. By presenting our lives as living sacrifices, renewing our minds, engaging in community, practising gratitude, and serving others, we can embody a worshipful spirit that glorifies God in all aspects of life.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, help me to cultivate a lifestyle of worship in Jesus' Name, Amen.
