THE CATALYST OF DIVINE HEALING AND VICTORY.
God is alive, active, and deeply invested in the healing of His people. He is not a distant deity but the ever-present Healer Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who heals you. As the Great Physician, His supernatural power flows today just as it did in biblical times. Miracles aren’t relics of the past; they are living testimonies of a living God.
Yet a question stirs in the hearts of many, Why are some restored to health while others continue to suffer? Is healing merely a matter of divine whim something left entirely to God’s inscrutable will?
It’s easy to fall into the mindset that “if it happens, it was God’s will; if it doesn’t, then it wasn’t.” This perspective offers a surface-level comfort, shifting all responsibility to heaven and relieving us of personal engagement. But if we’re honest, this view risks reducing faith to fatalism “whatever will be, will be” and that simply doesn’t align with the full revelation of Scripture.
We don’t determine God’s will by observing circumstances. We discover it through His Word.
And what does God’s Word say?
In Mark 9:23, Jesus declares with divine clarity: “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”* Not “if it’s My will,” but “if you can believe.” The emphasis is placed not on passive acceptance, but on active faith.
Consider 1 John 5:4 (NIV): “For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world even our faith.” Victory isn’t found in mere prayer, though prayer is vital. It’s not guaranteed by moral goodness, though integrity matters. Even the power of God, limitless as it is, waits upon faith to be released.
Jesus didn’t say, “It was My power that healed you.” To the woman who had bled for twelve years, He said, “Daughter, your faith has made you whole” (Mark 5:34). Her breakthrough wasn’t because she was perfect or popular it was because she believed.
The key isn’t whether God can heal, He already has. The question is whether we will believe.
Faith is not a mystical feeling or a vague hope. It’s a dynamic, living force the bridge between promise and manifestation. It’s the spiritual lens through which God’s power enters our reality. Without it, even the presence of God can pass unnoticed.
Salvation? Rooted in faith.
Victory over sin, sickness, and sorrow? Sustained by faith.
Walking in the fullness of God’s promises? Activated by faith.
Make no mistake this isn’t about putting pressure on the hurting. It’s about empowering the believer. Healing isn’t arbitrary. It’s accessible. And faith your decision to trust God’s character and His Word is the determining factor.
You are not a passive spectator in your spiritual journey. You are a participant in divine possibility. The power is His. The promise is sure. But faith? Faith is your part. And faith, beloved, is the victory.
Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful. (Hebrews 10:23)
I hope this helps someone else today and I pray for the month of September will never hold back everything the Lord has apportioned for you 🙏🙏
