GOOD NEWS

Romans 1:16 KJV
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

The Easy English translation of the Bible puts our text scripture thus; "I am not ashamed about the good news, because it is powerful. By the good news, God powerfully saves everyone who believes it. First, God saves the Jews who believe it. Then he saves the Gentiles who believe it." (Romans 2:16)
Just a few things to note here!
First, the gospel is good news.
Second, this good new is powerful.
Third, this good news is God's instrument for saving those who believes it.
Fourth, Jews can believe it.
Fifth, Gentiles can believe it too.
What then is this good news?
According to John 3:16, 2 Corinthians 15:3-4, and 1Timothy 1:15 this good news is what Jesus accomplished through His death, burial and resurrection. By the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, God powerfully saves any one who believes in His Son Jesus Christ. You too can believe this good news today!

TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH

Acts 1:8 KJV
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Sharing the gospel is the assignment of every Believer. God wants all people saved in our neighborhood, schools, and places of work. Do you have an excuse for not preaching the gospel? May be because we do not have a burning desire!
For example, parents who love their children brag about them. Likewise a person whose heart is filled with the holy spirit will naturally share the gospel.
In acts of the Apostles, the disciple were fearful. They were afraid of being crucified. They were too scared to go out for fear of the Roman priests and soldiers. However when they were filled with the Holy Spirit they changed from being cowards to witnesses. They became like dynamites and exploded the city of Jerusalem with the gospel of Christ.
By the power of the Holy Spirit we too can become like the Apostles of old. We can become witnesses to the uttermost part of the earth!
Praise God forevermore!

TO EVERY CREATURE

Mark 16:15 KJV
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

We can live a great life when we are led by the Holy Spirit. A life without a mission can never be happy! A nice house, well paid job, beautiful cloths or a good car (which are all needful) will not give you satisfaction. True happiness comes when you are really satisfied in your spirit. Material things cannot give you spiritual satisfaction.
Have you ever imagined the people living in America and other welfare countries, although they live comfortably yet they cannot quench the thirst of their souls. Many of these people becomes alcoholics or drug addicts and commit suicides. Just like the woman in John chapter 4 who had changed husbands five times and was living with the sixth one, who when she met Jesus got her thirst quenched.
Are you in business? A doctor? A professor? Etc. The Lord sent you into that profession to preach the gospel.
You will experience true satisfaction when you accept the calling of the Holy Spirit and have a mission and goal to preach the gospel (through any available means) to all creation throughout your world.

CALLED TO SERVE

Galatians 5:13 KJV
For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

Every genuine call must express itself through service. In Luke 22:26, Jesus said that "anyone that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve".
Jesus practically showed us the character of a man who is truly free. In verse 27 of the same chapter, He said... "For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth."
A person who is truly free will demonstrate it in a lifestyle of love through service.
If you are too big to serve, you might as well be too big to lead.
Our liberty in Christ should multivate us to serve God and man.

GOD WILL NEVER FORSAKE YOU!

Hebrews 13:5 NKJV
Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you."

One day as Paul sailed in a ship to Rome amongs some Roman centurions and criminals. The "northeaster", a terrible storm struck their ship. Their cargo and ship's tackle were thrown overboard because of the storm. Both the centurion and the prisoner's lives were at stake.
But Paul stood in front of the crew and said "
And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of any man's life among you, but of the ship. "Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me. (Acts 27:22,25 KJV)
It is easy to make confessions using beautiful phrases when everything is peaceful and safe. What do you say when there are storms, when it looks like everything is against you? Will you still speak God's word over your life? Even when we open our mouth to speak, don't our environment, human opinions and fears influence our confessions?
We must learn to confess God's word in the midst of storms! By faith, we must be able to stand up with courage and shout "God is with me"! This is how we overcome storms.
God's loves you and he will never forsake you.
Rejoice!

FAITH TO RECEIVE

Matthew 15:28 ERV
Then Jesus answered, "Woman, you have great faith! You will get what you asked for." And right then the woman's daughter was healed.

One day a Canaanite woman asked Jesus to heal her demon-possessed daughter, but Jesus gave her a cold-hearted response. "It is not right to take the children's bread and toss it to dogs" (Matthew 15:26).
Most people would be angry or depressed if they received such response.
Despite the initial response from Jesus, she never withdrew her earnest desire. "Yes, Lord, even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their master's table" (Matthew 15:27).
Finally she received both the answer to her request with an accompanied compliment, "You have great faith!" " You will receive what you asked for"!
A person who is really in need, will have a fervent desire for answered prayers. Sometimes they might even forget to eat or have a need to sleep.
If we pray with faith in our hearts, God will surely hear and respond to us. Will you be persistent to pray like this Canaanite woman? A person of great faith prays earnestly in faith until they receive the answer to their prayers.
We must stand firm on God's word with expectations. When we pray, we must believe that we will surely receive answers to our prayers.
Let us pray!
