When you have strong believe in your dream and future, your actions might seems stupid to some people.

They don't see what you see. They only see the"YOU" in present. But you are looking beyond the present. You are acting beyond the present.

Your dream is beyond now. They don't understand. But they will understand when the results show. When the evidence start choking them.

Identification And Elimination Of Redundancy In Writing

Redundancy in writing means using unecessary words in writing often or by repeating the same idea in different ways.

Removing redundancy makes your writing clearer, shorter, and more effective.

🛑How To Identify Redundancy

📌Repeated or unnecessary words.
Examples:

The word “End result” is wrong. End and result are thesame.

Or when you repeatedly use these words ”and, but, that“ in writing is wrong.

Use other words or synonyms.
Instead of using “and” repeatedly, you can use, "also", "therefore", "furthermore"

📌Pick The Words That Aligns With Your Writing:

Always choose words that coveys your writing or what you want to write for your readers to understand.

Example:
❌I want to see the end result of your examination.

✅I want to know the result of your examination.

Result is more appropriate to use.

📌Reread to ensure clarity is preserved.

Read your writing thoroughly in order to ensure its easier to understand.

The first time I participated in a writing challenge was during a registered writing class with my coach.

The thirty days writing challenge was tasking. You have to create new content about writing everyday.

I was an amateur writer. The real definition of JJC (Johnny just come). I didn't understand the writing field.

"I thought writers only write and post or publish it. I didn't know writing can be stressing."

"I was expecting writing to be easy as ABC. You should write whatever you feel like writing." I voiced out angrily while complaining to my friend.

"If everyone should write whatever they feel like writing and post it online or publish it, can you imagine the disaster? There wouldn't be any brilliance, beauty and creativity in writing."

"Besides, if you are already tired of the challenge, then give up writing. You shouldn't write. Writing Is not easy. Maybe, writing isn't for you." My friend replied.



Well, I am grateful I didn't give up. Though it wasn't easy at first, but I learnt and became better.

My friend said I shouldn't write. I did otherwise. Presently, I have people who are always advising me to stop writing.

"What are you doing by wasting your time to write?"

"Will writing pay your bills?"

"Are you even qualified to write?"

Well, I have been writing and will continue to write.

If anyone should tell you to stop writing, pick your pen to do otherwise.
