In many services today, we have slowly replaced spiritual order with emotional prayer. The Service Conductor gives prayer points for a reason and not just to fill the atmosphere with noise, but to guide the church into one accord spiritually. Yet, some members pray completely outside the instruction given.

๐Ÿ‘‰ A prayer meant for mercy turns into prosperity prayer.

๐Ÿ‘‰ A prayer meant for deliverance turns into personal warfare. And sometimes, the first, second, and third members end up praying the same thing differently.

However, this is not about condemnation. It is about correction and understanding spiritual order.

Even the Bible says:
โ€œYou ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly.โ€

There is power in unity, direction, and obedience during congregational prayer.

May God help us to pray with understanding, discipline, and alignment in Jesusโ€™ name. Amen

To be honest with us, love is truly missing among many of us, and that is the painful truth. We have mastered appearance in Godโ€™s presence, but many hearts are still filled with bitterness, silent hatred, envy, pride, and grudges. Yet we expect heaven to move for us. People seem to forget that God does not only listen to prayers but as well examines hearts.

As you go to worship tomorrow, remember this at all times: the heart you come before God with matters more than the garment you wear before men and you cannot keep carrying poison within and expect peace from above.

Celestial Church of Christ is born in love. So, let this hymn mean something to you once again.
