Nobody tells you that being a Christian teenager is weird.
One minute, you’re shouting “Amen!” in church. The next, you’re wondering why people who barely know a Bible verse seem to be enjoying life more than you.
Nobody tells you you’ll pray about the same struggle fifty times and still wrestle with it.
Nobody tells you you’ll have questions you’re too scared to ask because you don’t want to look like you’re backsliding.
And nobody tells you how exhausting it is trying to look holy when you’re just trying to survive school, family drama, friendships, and your own thoughts.
Many people sell Christianity as a VIP pass to a perfect life.
It isn’t.
Sometimes, being a Christian teenager means saying no when everyone else says yes.
Sometimes, it means feeling left out.
Sometimes, it means failing, crying, and wondering if God is tired of forgiving you.
But here’s what nobody talks about enough:
God already knew you’d be a mess.
He knew you’d have questions.
He knew you’d struggle.
He knew you’d fall.
And He still called you.
Christianity was never about pretending to be perfect.
It’s about following a perfect Savior while being an imperfect teenager.
So if you’ve ever felt like the worst Christian ever, breathe.
The fact that you’re still fighting, still praying, and still trying…
Means God isn’t done with you yet.
