**SUNDAY, 5TH APRIL 2020*

*TOPIC: HELP FROM ABOVE*
*Text: Psalms 121:1-2*
*INTRODUCTION* : I welcome you all to the first Sunday in the month of April, 2020. This is the month the Foursquare Family in Nigeria is considering the theme: *HELP FROM ABOVE* .
Our theme text is Psalms 121:1-2; “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.”
If there is anytime in our world that we need help from God, it is now. This theme is therefore apt and germane to the exigency of the hour.
My prayer is that the help of God will come for you, and your family in Jesus’ mighty name.
As we navigate this month together under the leadership of the Holy Spirit, I want you to bear these ten (10) salient points in mind.
*TEN SALIENT POINTS TO NOTE*
1. First of all, you must know that the destiny of any man is at the mercy of help.
2. Secondly, no man can survive in life without help. In Gen. 2:18, “And the Lord God said, it is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a help meet for him”
3. Except God helps a man, such a man will remain helpless. It is the help of God that activates other forces of help in a man’s direction.
4. How far a man will go in the race of life is determined by the quality of the help available to him.
5. It is the help available to a man that determines how victorious he will be in the battles of life, 2 Chr. 26:1-15. Uzziah was marvelously helped and he conquered many enemy nations around him.
6. The presence of quality help makes a man to arrive early and on time at the bus stop of destiny than his peers. Exodus 2:18-19 says: “And when they came to Reuel their father, he said, How is it that ye are came so soon today? And they said, An Egyptian delivered us out of the hand of the shepherd, and also drew water enough for us, and watered the flock”
7. A man’s dream for greatness will remain small and insignificant until helpers of destiny show up in his life. “And of Gad, he said, Blessed be he that enlargeth Gad; he dwelleth as a lion, and teareth the arm with the crow of the head.” Deut. 33:20
8. A man’s talents, abilities and gifts will amount to nothing at the absence of help. “There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, as an error which proceedeth from the ruler. Folly is set in great dignity and the rich sit in low place. I have seen servants upon horses, and princes walking as servants upon the earth” Eccl. 10:5-7
9. The absence of help makes life hard and tough for a man
10. Help generates speed in the race of life. It makes the unqualified qualified. It brings divine lifting. It brakes rules and protocols of life in a man’s favour, Gen. 41:14, 37-44.
*Pastoral Prayer*
1. Every barrier standing between you and your destiny helpers to collapse right now in the name of Jesus
2. I remove every evil mark sending away help from you with the blood of Jesus
3. Whatever is making life difficult, tough and hard for you is terminated in the name of Jesus
4. Everything created by God and made by man will support you to succeed in Jesus’ mighty name.
4. This is your set time for lifting
5. This is your set time for divine intervention
6. Divine help is on the way for you and your family in Jesus’ mighty name.
7. What kill others will not kill you and your households in Jesus’ mighty name.
